CLASH OF THE TITANS - air arms S410 or BSA R10?
beddyx replied to Alex Arrigone's topic in Airgun Hunting
go for the air arms 410 big brother the s510 a better all round look to it than the 410 and performs just aswell -the loading of the 510 is a lot better been a side lever -
hey marksman lets go bunny bashing you take the close ones and i will handle the long shoots with this

hi buddy why did ya get AA hunter ? Are you doing some short range shooting? regards davy not sure what you mean . dont care what i use as long as they do the job drobed a bunny at 39 yards standing with hunter pellets cant say no more than that
-
The AA Field diabolo pellets are accurate in my rifles out to 60+yards. I would not use the AA Hunter because they are pointed pellets, they would not be very accurate, but they do give a deeper penetration. could you tel me why a pointed pellet is not as accurate as a dome pellet

hi everybody whats your view on aa fields and aa hunters pellets , basically whats the difference in performance out in the hunting field p.s i know there is a difference in shape

i had my target pinned to a 12 inch board the shoots were at least a foot of poi to the right could not believe it that it would be that far out all i did was take the scope of and then but them back on. does any body know how much you can move the crosshairs on a scope whats the tollerence

i tried to get 5 in the same place, you say one hole group is that one on top of each other so 4 on top of the first if so i do need some practice then, but i guess 10mm group would be 5 head shoots at mr bunny HI buddy no not on top of one another, that would be to easy!!!! say ya take five shots and they all land in the same location, give or take a few mm.then this would be a one hole group then you measure the furthest poi, from side to side and then this will give ya your avarage group should be around 12mm 15mm this is what i would aim for pardon the pun 12/15mm well wit

hi i took off my scope to-day to give gun a bit of a clean, replaced it then it was shooting all over the place had a go at zeroing it- had not done it for years as i have only just got back into air rifles and when i bought the gun about a month ago it was shooting ok. my question is is this grouping in the picture ok it was 5 shoots at 30 yards at a 20mm target ( the yellow lines quarter circle ) 3 pellet group an 2 pellet 10mm apart hope you can make sense of this sorry for quality pic taken with mob zoomed in

all good comments and advice takeing them all on board, is this not a good way to protect my rifle from geting marked up after all it is only a removable sock and not sticky camo tape as i said i paid 600 quid for my gun and want to look after it as best as i can and just thought of the rifle sock as any easy method. this is my shooter without it
-
hi at least i get one sensible reply. i have only used a cheap rifle sock wich is easly removed i will take on board your advice about the action and barrel geting rusty cheers mate. p.s the other replys make you fell that you should not cover up your gun to protect it or reduce glare i am not bothered about looks it was done them for the reasons , maybe i should remove it and let my £600 quid s510 get marked up just to finish the buunys cant see mummy coming . thats me done
-
hi lads i but some camo on my rifle just need to get some sticky camo now for all the black bits what do you think does it look ok or a bit tacky dont mind what comments i get good or bad

i was in the same situation so decided to go with the hills pump to fill my aa s510, no problem at all with this pump my advice would be not to let it go to low on pressure just keep it toped up only takes about 20 pumps if you stick to that rule

from the picture she looks as there is enough collie in there good coat and solid. for future breeding i would cross her with a first cross greyhound whippet it would have to be a least 2-3 inches taller than her,if your plan is to keep back a pup then some time in the future you good then stick some collie blood back in there, if i breed i like to stick to what crosses are all ready in the mix in your case collie whippet greyhound
