Hi there, I'm Ryan, I've got here my full set up for sale, brand new condition 'falcon prairie 22. carbine 8 shot pre-charged pneumatic' with silencer, hawke night eye illuminated cross hair scope, pump, bi-pod, sling and gun slip with gun oil etc and loads of slugs there, really is an exellent air rifle, its whisper quiet, pinpoint accurate and beautiful looking gun, I bought it last summer from "Bradford Stalker Firearms" in Chester-Le-street Durham brand new after gaining a large amount of shooting rights so I done a couple of weekends of rabbiting and lost interest and never used it since,

Hello mate I've kept plumbers for a few year now using my 2 for digging only but I can honestly tell you there a great all round dog, not many people will tell you that by the way, plummers haven't exactly got a fabulous reputation for being the best earth workers, alot of bad comments on here about them being shite but i work mine to the bone on all quarry below ground and they've never failed me all the best Ryan -

IF ONLY. DAYS GONE BY NEVER WILL THE WORKING [EARTH DOG] PLUMMER SINGLE HANDED DOG BISTOW US AGAIN, NICE PICTURE I have a little plummer bitch up in the kennells coming up to 5 year old that i will dig anything with! Not very often she wount see the job through! she struggles with her size sometimes tho I wouldn't sware by plummers BUT I would sware by mine, great little earth dog, to be honest the only one I've seen work well to ground, not being big headed or anything give me a shout if you need her lining with a Plummer that'll work earths mate -
i think you need to read attack fell terrier's post again buddy he doesnt say that "his head and leg size will determine how good he is" he said "his head and leg size WONT determine how good he is" I can't apologise enough lol for my sheer ignorance I've removed the comment the best I can and once again im really sorry about that I should have read this guys reply properly before jumping to a conclusion. Atb Ryan

Sorry about that

That's it mate, never had one but what I've seen I think they do take a while to come out of their shell but once they do they make little cracking earth dogs, the only thing is there's alot of show bread shite out there so you have to be certain the dog will work, not many terrier men I know like to wait that long for a dog to come on so the dog ends up getting written off by it's second season, all the best with your dog mate hope it all works out well for you. What Age To Start a JRT?
terrierman.northeast replied to Jayd's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
NEVER, THEYRE SHIT! Oh, you have experience then? Obviously not mate If this man knew anything about terriers he would know that well bread Russell's are proberly some of the most hardy and reliable dogs to work to ground, I've shared quite a few digs with a local old timer who used to dig for the tynedale hunt from time to time and he had 2 right keen earth dogs and they were russell's, so I think our friend needs to only open his mouth if he has something helpful to contribute Keep it real
