  9. nice one fellman. im assuming even tho they were captive bred and not wild they still gave a good bit of sport for the terriers yeh ?
  10. i read in the papers that 5000 mink was set free in donegal a few days ago by some clever pack of do gooder save all the animals motherf****rs, obviously not to clever seen as the local wildlife will suffer badly as we all know. was just wonderin, has any of the irish lads on here taken a trip out that way with the terriers for a bit of damage control. if so,howd ye get on?

  16. well done man.. thats the funniest f****n thing ive seen on this site so far... it is a joke right? lol
  17. Yeah, that's a fun game. My JRT does this to my youngest dog, think it's definately a dominance thing as she wouldn't dare do it to the older bitch. He doesn't seem to mind. yeah, t. girl. maybe just as simple as that, she always has been the dominant one, but its just that the particular way she does it looks to me like how i would imagine a dog would work a fox. ive never seen this type of play before with a pup, u think this is a particular trait of a terrier pup from working lines?
  18. Id say you have a good one, used to live in dublin myself until 2 years back -serious amount of game up there(more than down the sticks lol).out blanch direction by the canal(mind the trains) is a very good spot, wankers of farmers though, back of maynooth college is a decent spot to start a young dog(again trigger happy farm manager) thanks pal, i hope she does turn out to be a good 1.
  19. dont have any expierience with real earth working dogs as yez can tel, so have another question for yez. more out of courisoty than need to know.. the young pat bitch doesnt seem to play like most other pups ive seen. it seems like she is always harrasing my older dog, snarling, barking in his face ,nipping , and biting and holding on to his cheeks especially, if you didnt know her you might not be blamed for thinkin she was actually getting stuck in to the dog. im courious to know if this is instinctive behaviour. playing as if working an earth or am i just looking to much into it?
  20. thanks pa, im from dublin. and thanks alot lads, for all your help, thats taken a bit of a weight of me mind, really appr. it
  21. how ye lads! ive got a 9 month old pat bitch, this is my first terrier from actual workin stock so am unsure as to if she is overly aggresive with other dogs or if she's just being a real terrier.she has been domanint with my 2 year old male staff since we got her at only a young pup. she gets possesive over a kill i.e a rat or rabbit or even at the entrance of a rabbit hole that a rabbit has just gone down, she will always snarl or snap at any other dog that tries to get hold aswell. in her defence tho, she has never actually bitten another dog and doesnt start trouble with the dogs she knows
