The fence painted, grass cut, eggs collected and coops cleaned, windows washed, dogs had their run, bees checked and smoked. Dont you just love working all week, then look forward to your day off!

It calms the bees down and makes them eat a small amount of honey to make them less aggresive allowing you to check them without getting attacked.

What subject do you teach? My mother in law is a head teacher in a public school. One of their subjects to teach is conservation and how important it is to our countryside. Mostly all and everything is learnt with pride. Tallyho I agree with you totally.

Too many foxs and not enough food for them, resulting in them looking for food in peoples houses. This is what the ban has done to these foxes, it's made the fox more brave and will do what ever it takes to eat because they are not being controlled the numbers are rising and not enough food for all. I just hope its' not an anti's son/daughter that gets attacked next..... but then they would say it was field mouse would'nt they........

Tonight I think we will see a very shaky England. Nervous mistakes will happen. Slovenia will just attack attack attack, pushing England back to defend and rely on a break to score. I have a feeling that there will be a red card for England, I'm guessing Rooney..... Both manager and team must work together!

Capello is a great manager, but England cannot play the Italian way! Last night they looked unfit, and very disorientated. 95% of the time it was all about me me me, no team work what so ever! There last game is going to be harder than this one, and they'll have to step up a few gears to get through.

Artic, I'm assuming you mean the old model? If you are then i can say through experiance they are good motors, great off road, good size boot, and they dont have alot of body roll on the road. Gearbox is good, they are not fast 0-60 in 18secs, but then if you want a fast vehicle get a car. They have plenty of space inside, usually come fully loaded. Parts are the usual £££ on 4x4's. I was getting around 28mpg in my 2.5td model. I dont know if anyone else can add to this, but mine was reliable, a good strong 4x4.

For me it has to be the Welsummers, docile birds, lay a good size egg. Bovan Neras, suffolks x plymouths, Marans, lohmans, silkies, black rocks all in my flock and good regular egg layers. Im going to add some Vowerks and wheaton marans soon. Lovely birds they are too.

Superb dog that was Artic, and you put as normal a hell of alot of time and effort into him too. Yes it was such a shame he passed away so sudden, i know the feeling, but as you know most worked lurchers have a short working life.
