  5. Dont even entertain this asswipe. he wanted to take your dog without seeing it which means he either wants to sell it on for a quick buck or use it as a breeding machine. Chances are he will come back and take all your dogs some night you are out of town.

  8. The beddy whippet should keep charles entertained until the mastiff executioner arrives on the scene. When you say working mastiff, has the mastiff played a similar role before or has it been for different type of work? Im a big fan of mastiffs but have never heard of them working as anything other than security guards so I would be interested to hear.

  11. Its not a word that I hate but words in general. I hate the fact that Irish people speak a forigners language instead of their own original gaelic language as in general we are a country of proud culture and tradition. I hope that one day it will again become our first language. I respect the work that people like hector and dara o cinnide and others on TG4 are doing to restore the language. Ta me ag caint as gaeilge anseo agus ta se go hallainn! oh i hate the word mate too. eg "cheers Mate" Mate means: Either of a pair of animals or birds that associate in or
  12. Any pictures or stories about good dogs that came from accidental matings?
  13. coursing arent faster..track are faster but dont have as much stamina as the coursing..coursing bred hounds are bigger, stronger and dont injure as easily as the track hound....depends what you want mate... do you want lightly built dogs with more speed maybe a bit less stamina that may tend to injure easily? or do you want a slightly bigger dog with a bit more stamina, may not injure as easily but maybe not as fast? personaly i would go for the coursing hound as they may be alittle stronger..you wouldnt even notice the difference in speed when crossed.. atb mate Coursin
  14. If you were crossing terrier into a grey you might consider using a coursing dog to bring the size up. depends on quarry too.

  17. I found 11 eggs under a bush a 3 days ago. so I marked the eggs with a pensil and the following day took the fresh egg, leaving the old eggs. she lays an egg every day but each day she sits on the eggs for a longer length of time. today she was sitting for 5 hours and left a new egg behind her and left. Is she slowly becoming broody? or is it normal to sit that long while laying? I never had hens sit that long while laying before She is silver sussex and this clutch is her first time laying. Any info or thoughts appreciated
