Just be patient and the penny will drop.. Has she seen another dog chasing rabbits ?? From what ive read you say she was chasing when she was younger but not now. Maybe she was overmatched too young ? Hope the penny drops for you pal. Atb. Keith

also most public access places get hammered as will any lake where you can pull in and fish. its a big lake and plenty of places so usually park and walk to hotspots.. National trust you can fish bottom and top as far as im aware. or better still if you fish from boat as you can get to drop offs where you cant cast to. cheers

If your not far away from kendal pal we will have a morning on lake one day. ive never done well with lures myself ,caught lower doubles but nothing substancial. atb keith

yeah hes doing grand andy... got a swolen toe atm followed a roe into rough ground...just keeping him ticking over till end of august so i can really put some graft on him.. hopefully you and your lads come down for some runs on big studf. atb keith

also be careful what baits you use too if fishing windermere.. there is no fresh water baits allowed ie. eels . trouth . roach. perch etc .. doesnt stop people using them but just a heads up pal.

just a rod licence mate. but that only covers two rods so if you fish with more than two rods you'll need another license. some good trout in pooley bridge and salmon are being caught atm too. nothing big though. atb

This is my old bitch fly, 10yr old now. pic taken when she was 3. very good hare bitch in small fields and took small roe too. excelent on squirrels and feather and retrieved like a gundog. atb keith ( she was out of lord of the knight )

Ha.. Had some with a stubborn streak but like you said your dog has done you proud and thats all that matters.. Ill always have one in the yard .. Cracking ferreting .mooching dogs. But my two knocking on 10years old now and my old bitch way too old to get a pup back off her so ill prob get another in near future if i can find a suitable pup that is. Whats you dog out of ideation ?

Ideation i never payed that much either.. Not that price was an issue.. And pick of litters too. But i know he doesnt breed too much now but did hell of a lot a few years ago. But thats hes business and he can charge and breed what he likes. Was only giving my two pence worth and i do believe there is better tested dogs out there.

lure works well but sometimes you really have to put a shift in for a few fish. A ferox of 17lb was caught a week or so ago on a small buldawg so im told and a lot of big fish have been tempted by lures. Just finding the right drop offs and trolling also does well at times. Cheers

Anybody know what these are making nowday ? Its the 15ft mark 1 terrier locator with a new ss terrier collar from pipa from here. Would be intrested in swap etc. Any info on price be great. Atb keith

Hi lads. my local lake is windermere and as i fish it most weeks through out year and was wondering if any of the guys from here have fished here and done well. Its not the easiest of lakes bit does produce good fish when the lake is on. Since sept last year ive had well over 60 fish biggest being 25lb 04oz. Had a bad spell in march and april where no matter where i fished or what bait i couldnt catch a fish but recently its being fishing well and ive landed 20 pike these last 3 weeks biggest 24.5lb. Loads of doubles too uo to 18lb. Few 30lb fish have been banked this year

Im the same buddy. I run only lurchers now but still have 3 whippets in kennels. My old bitch fly who will be coming on 10yr old now . Very good hare bitch in her day and loved feather. Retrieved gundog style. Took a few roe does as well in her time. She was double bred lord of night. There is celt my old dog who was and is till this day best ferreting dog ive ever owned. Exceptional around a warren in hes day. Didnt have the wind for daytime hares and could catch.foxes with ease but as soon as he got bit he was straight back with tail between hes legs. Lol. But would try and draw others!! And

Cheers lads. No i wont need luck i dont think just keeping the greedy bastxxd fed on best food and putting as much game infront of him as i can. But he pleases me and thats all that matters.
