i have 3 black dogs and a black bitch ready to go. will make superb rabbbit dogs etc. they have been wormed dewclawed and are NOT kc reg. parents are but i dont believe in kc papers as there not gonna help a dog catch a rabbit or a hare!! will come with a pedigree. sire: celt 20 1/2" black son of jake " lord of the knight" he marks 100% and is brilliant around the holes ( warrens) has taken fox but doesnt like teeth much so not a fox dog. taken 2 roe squirrels rats etc.(pre ban) dam: fly 20 3/4" black daughter of jake " lord of the knight" marks 100% catches and brings back to hand. f

cheers lads, my mate also said use a ceaning rod, where can i get one for a .22? he'll sort seals for me if there gone. those 8 shot mags are a headbanger, drive me crazy, it will take me a while to get used to them. cheers for the info lads, keith
-
hi lads, i recently purchased a fn 19 8 shot fac, i got 2 mags with it and there a nightmare, this morning i put two mags through it and no problems, then on the third i must have double cocked it and got 5 or 6 pellets stuck, i also think iv'e blown the seals in my gun as i tried to fire with no mag in the hope it would clear and it didn't, same thing happned to my mate and he blew his seals and it cost him £70. to get the gun sorted, any advice on how to get pellets out without damaging barrel and to check if seals are gone. cheers keith

topper your welcome to use him once he has proved himself down under, he hasnt seen anything yet but im on to it, personally i think he will need till september before i try him, still getting used to me and im just taking him everywhere with me and when i feel he's ready or he insists on going then ill let him. he's out of nicky newburns " murphy" to his "trusty bitch so as far as i know he's 3/4 bedlington 1/4 lakeland ( going back to middletons nailer on the lakey side)

highlander here's a pic of my pure jill. she's over a year old. extremely small and i think she would fit anywhere. if all goes to plan next year and my 2 jills keep ill sort you out with a jill and when shes old enough to breed drop her down to me and ill get her lined for your to another wild hob. cheers keith
-
i dont think he is too big for rats, some of the W poley hobs i have owned have been giants. if he proves to be a good worker then i will deffo be mating him to my pure jills next year, i think if you hande them enough at a young age and keep it up then a few will be hand tame obvisiouly a few wil keep their wild instinct and be shy and will bite, with them they will go back to the wild or back to a mate whos a wildlife ranger. my mate has tamed 2 wild mink he got them when they were young and even had a video of him handling them. he also had 2 weasels as well as a stoat. i think anything is
-
for the lads that asked for a pic, soz it took so long i forgot here's my hob and i can guarantee he is 100% pure. he is totally hand tame which took the last six or so months i've had him since he was a young un. i will be working him this season to rabbit rat and greys. he has only bit me twice since i've owned him and i never wear a glove while i handle him. ive had some that would bite me straight through a falconry glove and i've had some which would never be able to be worked but this lad is as tame as anything. i also have 2 pure jills. cheers keith. ps i dont want this to turn

real nice pups royston cant believe you still have them. real beautys and look well reared. should make cracking little lurchers. hope you find good working homes for them. cheers keith

thanks for the replys lads i think the reverse 3/4 is more of a terriermans dog but thats just my opinion all the dogs in this tread look spot on. im getting a well bred irish track bitch in 2 weeks and shes being lined to my good mates dog rocky ( first cross ) he's done all that has been asked of him and much more so next season i will have hopefully 2 nice well bred 3/4 greyhound 1/4 bull dog pups to run. im having 2 dog pups aswell as my mate who's having 2 dog pups he owns the sire and the rest to friends and good mates. cheers lads, keith ps. has anyone got a pic of a reverse 3/4
-
not getting one just intrested in other people opions thats why i asked. i will have some quality 3/4 grey 1/4 bulls in a few months to the dog mentioned above. cheers keith
-
My mate is thinking of lining his his 21" bull to his dads first cross. the dog has done everything ( pre ban ) rabbit - hare - fox - roe - fallow - reds single handed and i was just wondering what uses they would have besides drawing etc. any pics of reverse 3/4s would be brilliant as well as what quarry they were worked to pre ban. cheers lads, keith

nice bitches mate how did the nicky bred bitch do below? cheers
-
he dose'nt know the names of the parents but said he was rambo on both sides, and that there was black lakeland put in years ago by stuart staley? this is what nicky told him. the mother was a blue bitch and he thinks the father was blue aswell but he's not sure. he also said that nicky used the parents regulary and were worked with foxhounds etc. has anyone seen nicky's dogs? if so what were they like and are they good finders and stayers ? any info appriciated. cheers keith ps. didnt nicky have a litt

heres 5 or 6 pics of him. 13 months old 14" spanable etc.

i got the bedlington dog last night, i have him on trial for as long as i want and the lad i got him off is a good mate of mine, he got him off nicky a few weeks ago and said he was a neverous wreck when he got him, hes ok now but will need a months or so before i even try him. hes 14" jet black and 13 months old and has the best coat i have ever seen on a beddy, close and real harsh, hes got a good head as well and a nice set of nashers. so far hes been no trouble. if he makes the grade my mate only want 150 for him so i think its a bargain for a 13 months old pup. i'll do my best to put pic

twelsh the black bitch lying down is the bitch you bred, shes turning into a handy sized bitch and i cant wait till sept/october to start her.
