Ive had a couple and really struggled with them I do like them and believe that their quarry range can be vast but how the hell do you get into their heads so that they can be trained and will work for you

f**k me the amount of so called armchair keyboard hunters that turn up on this site and spout utter shite from their arse on what ppl should and shouldnt do make experience in running dogs is more than enough to know when n were to slip a pup on a rabbit and [BANNED TEXT] you let the said dog run a half grown rabbit thats sat tight in a field and it watches it run off then you question the dog not your methods

Yeah no intention of selling or giving the dog away it will never be bred from ever it is staying till it dies that was my intention to show it rabbits whilst ferreting and try get it working well that and try itaagain next season once its fully mature

Just wondering what ppl would do with a half arsed lurcher thats roughly 12 month old bearing in mind ive no lamp and my ferrets come back at end of month by half arsed I mean not fully committed in a run but wants the rewards at the end

i would definitely like a deerhound greyhound at some point but people seem to be more of the opinion that a grey collie x deer grey would be the better option so was giving some thought to bringing in a bitch grey collie work her hard for a good few years then put a deer grey over her and keep some pups back for myself its just an option as ive noticed a few people from here rated the deer grey x collie grey quite highly

went out for a lamp with my young bitch last tuesday ive had her out a few times on lamp and she has caught three bunnies on a previous outing anyway in the gate we go lamp on rabbit up and running but i had her on lead bit of a misunderstanding with the lad i was out with his dog was slipped and caughtso onto next lamp on rabbit a fair distance away [ my fault here in my over excitment ] i slipped her she ran five yards put her nose to ground and disappeared into the night we called whistled shouted but carried on with the lamp and his dog nailed 8 rabbits [happy days]...... one and a half ho

just wanted to now what you people think ......... say your looking for a new lurcher pup you hear on here look for parents that are doing the job how the hell can you know that listening to what the breeder says how can you tell he/she is telling the truth say you want a dog that takes r h f d are you meant to pay your money and hope for best
