    Hi people I just got myself a Patterdale x Russell pup she's was only 6wks old when I got her and now she's just turned 5 months both parents are working dogs, I got it to do a bit of ratting and to keep me company when I go Fishing she is very wick and very bold at home but when I take her out she seems very timid,I shot a rat and a rabbit this week for her to rag about and she's not interested in them is this normal or is she still to young to have that killer instinct in her ???????

    just a few words from a newbie,Hi to all and Im hoping to get some useful info from this forum and maybe supply some useful info to, Ive been shooting for 25yrs also running a beatin line and training gun dogs and all the bits that go hand in hand with sport, I only have 1 lab left now and she's got slow and old so I thought Id give working Terriers a go Ive seen it done but never had Terriers so Ive just go myself a Patterdale x Russell and thats why Ive joined this forum to hopefully get some good advice and training tips I'll put a post in the Terrier section. Thanks
