I have a dog that will do them single handed, But i rarely ever go out on my own with just one dog, And we doubled our dogs up on big qaurry, But i would prefer them to be able to hanlde biting back, single handed and still run doubled up.

Init, They are always in the cover so you cant run them, This one last night showed no intrest in coming into the squeek. Most of the foxes around here wil lnot come to a squeek anyway, only ever get a few that will come to squeek. They might of followed lampers before who have dropped rabbits and clicked on.

Anyone had foxes following the aroundo n the lamp before, has happened as few times but its normally town foxes, but this fox last night out in the middle of no where was following us around , walking down a hedge behind us following us for a while, anyone had this before?

I never run my dogs on Plough or Maize stubble , Any try not to run in woodland either as ive seen dogs run into trees full pelt behind qaurry straight in to trees inthe past. Also around here on the Flood plains to get grass feilds, in varying size with humps all the way through feilds, these can bugger up a dogs feet sometimes. Land is varied around me, Very Varied

No Cubs will be around on my patch untill Late may early june onwards,, No way would i choose to pursure these and other game for that matter through the summer months,Unless i was bringing on a young dog.

I dont know where you are but here we have had flat out heavy rain for the past week or so, and the local rivers and streams and ponds have swelled right up, Maybe she left the water the same way as mink do to hunt inland, Alough otters are alot more water bourne than mink and its more common for mink to do this.
