  1. your right mate im rebuilding it in the summer with my own walls but i just needed something quick while i was building my kennel and run for my lurcher and rotti thanks for the heads up mate

  3. cheers mate only the two jills in there at the moment 2 sisters but have two more coming in about 7 weeks time ready for the coming season cant wait need to get back out into the countryside

  5. someone asked me to put some pics up to give them some ideas hope this helps. the hutch is attached to the run by 110mm piping so they can come and go as they please also have 3 feeding sations so they have to look for there food also some piping on the floor and on the walls along with ramps and run ways all to keep them fit during the off season.
  6. cheers mate its the redmills im with at the moment but was told 27% protein is to high and go for something with about 24 25% protein or do u have a redmills with less or have i been given bad advise. thanks mate Like everything else, if the dog is doing fine on it then its ok. High protein is only really a problem if they aren't getting enough work in my view and even then its not a health problem but a over hyper, etc, problem.   9. hi just got my first lurcher and was woundering what people are feeding there dogs i was hoping to feed both dry and raw but not sure which dry is best. the only dry food ive seen in my area is wag,omega,pets at home own brand and red mills racing dog food. thanks for reading and look forward to any replys.

  13. does with babies inside them from mid feb and seen young running about the other day also didnt see any mixy so i do agree i think there will be plenty of rabbits this season where we are in wiltshire.
  14. alright mate just incase i have to dig 9ft which thank feck i havent yet but how did u get your ferrets out because im only 5ft 8ins. i carry some barbed wire when im out just in case i cant reach a dead rabbit but thats only about a ft long. cheers mate When you start digging you'll need a wide hole then as you get deeper leave a ledge then carry on till breakthrough. cheers

  20. i ve kept bull crosses for about 8 years and they suit me. but before that i had a 3/4 gh x 1/4 collie from hancock. really helpful chap and plenty of time to talk to you about your choice, did nt push for the sale at all. unfortunately the dog would nt even look at a fox but i know plenty that will from this line. i found the collie greyhound really simple to train and he was nice and steady.i would keep this cross again for sure but perhaps get a pup from tried and tested parents. all sounds good and exactly what u want from a breeder cant wait to get down there and pick one.

  23. hi mate im looking at them this week to and its my first was going today but now going in the week or weekend because ive just found out my mate has one from hancock and he is well happy with him so going to look at him later today. but also i was told by someone that he was breeding from working stock but now he doesnt because he dont have the time to hunt so just uses them to breed but im not sure if that makes a differance or not but like i said above it will be my first so im only going on what im being told from other experienced owners. what my mate did say though was that he had an exce
