  3. First one in about 6 weeks or more, i was averaging 3 a week then everything suddenly went quiet NOWT happening, rotated traps tried completely different areas still nowt almost give up. Brought most of me traps in leaving 4 out in better spots paid off in the end picked this beast up this morning, bringing my total so far this year to 22. Just gos to show the little fcukers are still out there some where!
  4. Which way round are you setting the traps? They should be set side on, so the thump loop is facing the wall of the sett, other wise positioned long ways, when sprung the trap will just flip your quarry over and so it will escape to piss you off another day. Happy Trapping Fenbo

Yes its super squirell the tw-t must be caught for all our sakes word has it the greys are making a come back under the leadership of this c--t They must be stopped killed by any means possible, Remember for supernuts it gota be a silver bullet or a diet of kryptonite and warfrin at 100%LD on whole grain. Good Luck My Friends

  14. Went for a mooch last night with me mate Dave, he was wanting to try out his new rig,we were out for a few hours, never saw a thing not even the usual hords of rabbits, we was just about to call it a night cause it was starting to rain, Dave was pissed off because he'd not tested his new pride and joy. On the way back to the motor Dave says give this last field a scan over win the lamp and there he was tucked in between some bails, i held him in the lamp Daves shot was on bang he dropped on the spot out to about 85-90yds approx, Dave went home chuffed ta fcuk.
  15. Believe it or not, i've caught the little barstewards in roof spaces using Fenns without any baite at all Its the inquisetifness that kills them in the end, as they say curiosity killed the cat! or in this case the squirell
  16. For pure lack of interest am dropping the price to £170 absolute bargain!!
  17. I use a 9" piece of welding rod with the end bent over to form a hook, place the rod through the ring on the end of the chain push into the ground making sure the hook is over the ring and push the hook also into the ground, used this method for years and not yet lost a trap. On some of my Fenn's i have extended the chain using a piece of thin steel rope tied through the ring, so i can secure the trap to the bottom of wire fences etc, comes in usefull if the trap is placed deep in a hole, making it difficult to get the peg into the ground.
  18. Ruger 1022 mint condition fitted with a SAK moderator and a niko sterling gold crown 3 x 9 x 40 scope, the scopes mounted on RWS mounts but since fitting its not been out the cabinet NOT BEEN USED. Still have the box and bits and pieces the scope came in. £200
  19. Bought one of those laser bore sighters by Bushnell a while back now, thinking thats the dogs ntus i'm doing everything by the book pacing the distance according to the book from firing point to target then doing the simple calculation, it all looks spot on, the cross hairs are perfectly aligned with the red dot. But when it comes to proof firing the grouping is a mile out and i end up making major adjustments to bring the grouping on line What is supposed to be a simple process which should save time and rounds is proving to be a right pain in the ass Have i wasted my money? or
  20. Had my .22RF CZ Style done for the same reason as yourself reduced it to 16inches i've not noticed any differance in accuracy or power if any thing i'd say its better than it was before, i had it done by a renouned gunsmith who offered me my money back if i was not 100% satisfied but i am mate, pleased i took the risk.

  22. Went out last night to knock some rabbits off, i'd accounted for eight, i think from where i was laid up using my 17HMR, when from no where Charlie appeared picked up a rabbit legged it about 20yrds and stopped to fill his belly. I held him in the cross hairs thinking should i or should'nt i, knowing shooting fox with 17hmr is not the done thing he was out at approx 50-55yrds fcuk it i thought BANG he was dead on the spot shot him in the throat The pics were taken the next morning no phone or camra with me!
