  8. Whats your views on spaying working gun dogs? reason is i have a 12 month old Lab bitch (Bella) whom i've been training since she was 5 months old the training has gone well, she retrieves pigeon and crow from the hide no problem, this will be her first season wildfowling i cant wait. Problem is the Mrs wants me to have the dog spayed, i am against the idea because i believe it would ruine the dog for work making her put on weight, developing saggy teats etc; am i right? The dogs just finished her first season an the Mrs is putting the preasure on,doing me head in. Your views are apprecia

  17. Me and the lad left the house early doors, at the first set by 8.30 the conditions seemed perfect a light dusting of snow a slight breeze blowing and the sun just peaking through the cloud, in for a good day or so i thought my wee jack terrier Cypher was marking well, netted up, ferrets down, the ground was bumping like fcuk then silence ended up digging to retrieve 2 rabbits the same happened for the rest of the day not a single rabbit bolted after digging for 6 more we decided to call it a day at least all that digging kept us warm.
  18. Me wee jack Cypher pulled this barsteward from under me mates back garden shed!
  19. Killgerm run a one day course for gasing moles using aliminium phosphide and trapping the little fcukers cost £95 including VAT good course did it myself found it very informative. peace of piss
  20. Talking about tiny fury balls hows your Lindsay!
  21. Try and enrole yourself on a moling course run by Killgerm its only £95 pound for the day well worth it though they teach you all the basics of trapping and gasing, then the rest is up to you. I was like you mate never caught a mole or even seen one, but since doing the course last year i never stop now the secret is persistance and you will get there in the end, and may be earn yourself a few bob in the meantime. Good luck with it Fenbo
