    never had a problem doing local golf course with air rifle find most rabbits there are used to people walking around not bothering them so can get well within range dusk or dawn. (they all get eaten)

    That was theone kipp was on about the pack he hunts with do that the guy that does it's called bull shiit Billy he spends half his time trying to steal folks hunting grounds and the other trudging the woods playing tapes lol then the huntsman wonders why he isn't allowed to join the effca happy days

    yeh it is for a ringtone i have a horn ringtone at the mo that i got off here maybe thats the one you mean.cheers think you are right mate..a friend bluetoothed me a load,including hounds in full cry but i managed to delete them all apart from the huntsman blowing the kill sickener never mind cheers anyway i'm sure the lads will be on here after the shows and beer later on.     sorry mate got a few piss takers on here. :thumbs:and from the pics you will see me beagles mark(setting on a burrow)where as me terriers would be half way in there only there arse showing diggin like a fckn nutter.nice to work a different way.new to me but doin ok love me beagles. Fair play to you. I just had the idea a pack of beagles worked the same as the fox hounds, careering around on the scent of rabbits and it always puzzled me that there would be any rabbits above ground with all the baying etc. Cheers! glad to help atb

    once they go to ground the beagles will mark them as a terrier do's will post a pic of me lad marking. copper top hound

    cos you use ferrets the same as you would with terriers once they mark a burrow .are you new to hunting. or just realised you may be taking the piss i hope not.

    while its young make sure you discipline it come back when called if your terriers do it will follow them(i use a whistle myself)and treats as a pup they can be hard work once the heads down and tail up but now a few years in i wished i'd got a couple years ago good luck. (a whistle to get their attention then shout their names like a nutter)

    good advice my oldest beagle now 3 learnt off my old terrier now got 3 that work as a pack on rabbits and got a 3 month old to bring on you can't take away hundreds of years of breeding no matter what the kc try to do. (when i say work as pack its sometimes (dis)organised chaos)
