  6. if you muscle a dog up to much, can it actually slow it down?
  7. there is a group of people that come to my area every year and do this, i think they travel around the country during the summer months, there are all sorts of dogs involved from jrt to collies and there are one or two huskies aswell, all the smaller dogs work in a team and the bigger ones work with the rider only, it's great to watch.
  8. And she is turning out to be a cracker.. cheers blue one
  9. i suppose in an ideal world it would be better to see both parents working, i seen both parents of my pup, but, i never seen them working, i seen the lads set-up and other dogs ect, asked him the routine questions and spoke to him a few times over the 2 weeks before picking her up, he seemed a genuine guy and i took his word for it.
  10. my plan is to do it gradually, a few hours every day, then hopefully they will adjust, the funny thing is, they were all born outside
  11. best of luck to you and your dog then, oh by the way it's spelt WHIPPET.

  15. i remember this lad coming out with this before about taking his 10 week old pup out lamping, he was under a different user name.
  16. get him out at night on the lamp, it doesn't matter that it's " out of season" a few easy rabbits to start him of will do his confidence the world of good, not to many runs 2 or 3 to start of with on squatters, instead of having him chase rabbits that he won't catch during the day, concentrate on his recall, retreive, sit, stay ect, do a bit of road walking during the day to keep his fitness up, if you have to take him where there is rabbits, keep him on the leash just for now, you seem to be doing well, keep up the good work atb........john
  17. I've seen a documentary on him. He was one sick f**k  FTB He only came to grief due to a blocked drain stuffed full of body parts Aye.. dyno-rod came out to unblock the drains.. the fella pulled out a handful of flesh that he thought was chicken until they found the human bones that hed been flushing down the bog .. i read all the murder books and mags i think your one for the watching, do you have a beard
