Dogs mate but the Money from the Greys was nice. When it comes to the Greys its about Breeding,Rearing and schooling a Open class Greyhound. Good ones are few and far between. Then to Breed a Group 1 Winner was special. To top it off his littermates were all First Class Competition Winning hounds Winning Group 1s Group 2s and Group 3 Comps as well as many Feature and Sky Opens and a Tk Rec . Sound very money orientated to me Give it a go from scratch. Lot easier to breed a dog that will catch Hares,Deer, Fox ect You go and try breed a Champion Greyhound. Nah mate not my

Ive seen plenty of them half crosses run mate they sure got some stride to them but feck me they burn out quick if you get them fit enough they don't burn out so quick mine has some staying power and has a good set of lungs on him trust me mate these were not fat lumps that never got out the kennel i seen run the one i have at the mo doesn't burn out quick he is pretty good on long runs Maybe mate but what are ye comparing him to ? same breed 1/2 x dhxgh mind you he does have 5 coursing gh bred in to him Exactly mate same way bred and from same kennel's they dont last mate they look

Yes,i have Joe...this dog below was from it...just a question then guys if you don't mind please?...if you wouldn't use a Greyhound either as a Stud or as a Dam would you use a dog which had a Greyhound as a parent to cover or be covered by your own dogs? Possibly if it was a decent animal but would much prefer a gen bred animal but even so an animal with a greyhound as its parent is still a lurcher is it not

Max,i took Nikey lamping several times,he could kill a hare as good if not better than a lot of lurchers i've seen,he ran tight,and none of this swinging wide and over shooting malarkey,he had a great strike on him and the hare was dispatched by him in a second lol..he also retrieved straight back to hand..imo he would of caught a bag of gear with little fuss but i used to just give him a run or two to gee him up..as for Greyhound blood well i wouldn't be frightened to use one especially with dogs such as Don..let's remember even in these types the Minshaw's dogs like Blue himself had plenty o

This is the way i see things most lurchers are a twixt of different crosses ie, Deerhound x Greyhounds Saluki x Greyhounds Border Collie x Greythounds Beardie Collie x Greyhounds Beddy x Greyhounds Bull x Greyhounds Whippet x Greyhounds ect ect These are then sometimes bred to each other.
