When I was a kid I didn't have an XBox or Wii. I had a pushbike and a curfew, a.k.a. the street lights. I lived outside, not inside. If I didn't eat what my mum made then I didn't eat. And thats where we just have to put trust in teachers to do the right thing......as citizens we put a certain element of trust in the police to make tough decisions and use correct judgement......so we should do the same with teachers. Unfortunately everyones frightened of their own shadow and have to tip toe about through fear of offending or upsetting someone.....society is getting weaker and weaker not stronger and stronger.....so what works and what doesnt. and how very true this is, but somewhere along the way WE let it happen. Well Ideation lets please not pretend that these people (Your typical Muslim) are some beacon of moral decency! We're looking at honour killings, women having to cover up in case a man can't control his sexual urges (which he isn't to blame for apparently) Forced marriages, Violence against women, circumcision! and so on and so fourth. I'd also say that the girls that are going out doing the things you mentioned aren't cultured at all, they must be lacking in many of the sound fundamentals that are in the make up of a normal happy decent kid for one reason or another. it's a real shame.

A clip round the ear doesnt leave a deep emotional stain,and if it does then that kid needs to get an idea of what lifes about.Like becoming a man and never standing up for himself because he,s been taught its wrong to hit out. Never laid a finger on my kids it wasnt for me....but i dont see nothing wrong with a clip round the ear if it gets the message home....oh what terrible parenting skills ! What message does a smack round the head teach? my daughter is 10, never been "smacked around the head" as you put it, I could never do it anyway, but she does know the meaning of no

I'm 58 and still use a Hill's pump. I never let the buddy bottle get below 150psi and then top it up. It's not easy but let your legs do the work not your upper body

shepp I think these days kids don't dream they expect and the "parents" don't have the skills because real parents are few and very far between because not a lot of thought went into "why have children?"

Absolutely.....too many parents today give it the " dont you touch my little Eric "......as responsible people we should give teachers a little trust in the way they discipline our kids....ok i know its not even an issue now due to the pc madness,but if my kids were back at school,unless my lad came home bashed up then id accept he deserved what a teacher gave him. We had teachers you wouldnt have dared backchat to,one old boy Mr Bishop i still see him today lovely old boy loves his boxing we always have a chat....doesnt mean i wasnt petrified of him as a kid....they just commanded a differen

I find some sort of fish oil in their food now and then works..................when there's Tuna on the go in the kitchen here I drain the oil from the tin and add it to the food

out on the bikes with the daughter Sunday and by way of a treat we stopped in the village for an ice cream. Sat there in the glorious sunshine on a bench in the square I lay back and closed my eyes ...............it was like we were abroad in warmer climes for sure 'cos all I could hear were foreign fu.ckin foreigners talkin :laugh:

the two "proper" teachers at the school I am in contact with were really pissed off last night.........kids were unruly and not listenin and basically laughin in their faces I couldn't be a teacher because I'd flip and resort to the old "clip around the ear" but I tell ya what......... it worked in my day 'cos we knew our fu.ckin place

Do we need to supplement dog’s diet?

I've never given any supplement to any dog I've ever owned and to be honest when we only had sheep dogs they were fed on scraps just like all the "old school" folk did and I swear they were as fit and healthy as any modern day dog if not more so -
