I've oil central heating but this year I bought a 2nd hand "Villager" wood burner for £200 to replace our "Queenie" log burner that was in our fire place. The Queenie" worked well but it was too small for the job. The 1st night I lit the new one it threw so much heat out it was shuttin the rads down!!!!! I've got a flue damper set up on this so it's easier to control and it works a treat. This does not have a boiler but I'm so impressed that I'm toyin with the idea of upgradin to one that does, BUT they do eat wood!!!! so you need to sort out a supplier.....................or move next

I was in the middle of cuttin the lawns when they called to see where my form was , not a problem tho as it had already gone. I was thinkin that whoever sent this person must know me 'cos they sent a fu.ckin raghead to get it :laugh: mind you I didn't mind as the person was female and very tasty too :laugh:

You are entitled to your opinion,personally I would say the standard of dogs is still pretty high. I don't think the original thread mentioned Jackers, he asked if it was good dog do you keep it ,? If it was an average dog do you get rid of it? How does keeping a dog after its working life is finished ,mean that you have no balls? A dog that has worked its best for you ,until old age set in ,and it couldnt do it any more is entitled to a warm bed ,and some quality of life in its old age ,thats how I see it. this is a different story, selling an incapable dog that is young is totally different than selling a dog thats worked hard enough for you to keep it, and then giving it away when its had years of being attached to you. Yep and it's dead easy to rehome a older dog but why rehome a dog that someone has taken into their "home"? It totally fu.cks them up but I guess it's an easy option

I just think its something each individual has to make a decision on,its not for everyone.... i got plenty of clips,slippers,canes...my school was very strict....but as a big strong fella it just wasnt for me my kids were my babies i was a complete soft touch....but i can fully understand why parents would its not like they are dishing out a beating thats going to emotionally scar a kid...it makes me laugh all these new age ideas of parenting when the fact is we have the worst disciplined kids of any other generation in history !!....maybe these new age ideas just dont work !
