    i would say get a bull terrier of some sort,is the kennels your on about bulldoug mark and debs if so they have some great stock,if you have no experiance in large strong willed breeds dont get an am bull, good luck with whatever you choose to do,if you do choose to as has been said do your homework.

    trust me mate !!! 1 metre high is a pain in the arse when you gotta get in to clean and things. made the same mistake, spent about £1500 and knocked the feckers down and started again!!! was thinking about doing 4 kennels 1mtr x 1mtr just for the dogs to sleep in, with 3oors on the backs for cleaning out, and a part covered mesh panelled run for each individual dog,

    I'm thinking of building some brick built kennels for my dogs. 1 metre high, 4 metres wide and 1 metre deep approx. Does anyone know whether I need permissions to do this? Obviously i could just do it but will be starting an extension early next year so will have planning people round to check on this and don't want to build them and then have to take them down again.     There ok on hare mate but there never going to be 3 out of 3 dogs. They will give a good show on hare and give 100%. As for the slip i used to give the hare fair law over 70yds, as like most whippet owners it's not the catching it's seeing the dog run that we get enjoyment in. That said in the smaller fields they will have a good catch rate on short slips. Unfortunately duw to the ban i have to use my whippet to flush them to the gun she does this very well indeed but i must get to the clay ground and brush up on my shooting as she tend to catch more than i hit A few of my bitch(Vix
