how much difference does this make to a bsa air rifle.??? is there a noticable difference? and how do people rate the bsa scorpion se, with a bowket blue print? reason im asking is that im thinking of buying one. cheers guys

as above, wanted a pcp in 177, multishot if poss. will consider single. cash waiting for right gun. cosmetics not an issue, as long as the gun shoots straight. hw 100 kt or s. bsa ultra?? what have you got, that you no longer want.??

so the ultra is maybe one to consider. i had 1 in .22 a few yrs ago. but i got rid because of the low shot count. not as much of a problem now, because i have 2 air tanks.

Just bought a .22 100ks. Lol was thinking maybe a kt in 177. But was thinking something lighter mate. But I guess the a&m cylinder would knock a pound off the weight.

Right guys, I'm looking at getting a lightweight carbine in 177 for shooting pigeons, squirrels etc in the woods. Needs to have a good shot count. And be very accurate. Any suggestions???? Feel free to throw any ideas into the mix. Will be keeping the hw 100 s in 22. But as far as I'm concerned u can't have too many air rifles. And hopefully will still be investing in a rapid around Xmas time( as long as I can find one that hasn't been messed about with too much, and for the right money. )

No mate. The rifle was new only a few weeks ago, and was shootin superfield bang on. Then I got this new tin on sat, and they are all over the place. I tried the ftt and they where outstanding. I'm wondering if it's because the rifle has now been leaded or because it's a bad batch?????

nah mate. the ftt where absolutely bob on the money. at 30 yrds i was shooting 5 shot groups not much bigger than the diameter of a pellet. i just think that it must be a dodgy batch of superfields. but if it is, its the first ive had.

been using superfields in my rifles for a while now, but i bought a new tin on sat, and was having a plink in the wind the other night. and i thought something wasnt quite right, but i just assumed it was down to the erratic gusting wind. however, i went to the range today with a mate, and zeroed the scope at 30 yrds, to try a few different brands. first i tried accupel, they where acceptable. then jsb jumbo exact, they where poor. then i tried h and n ftt. these where unbelievable. they where spot on. then i tried the superfield. these where by far, the worst of the lot. inch and a half

got a call off the farmer today,telling me the cows had been moved out of the small field at the top of my permission. i said id nip over on the week end to have a look. then a few hours later i had another call off a mate telling me that our fishing trip to whitby tommorrow, had been cancelled due to bad weather. so i called chris, the farmer back and said id nip up this evening and have a walk round. i waited for the mrs to finish work, and come home with the car. she arrived back at 7.30(half an hour late, after nipping to boots. aarrgghh). so i loaded up the car and set off on the 20 m

i looked at an se last week. i liked it a lot. then i had a little shoot of an r-10 this weekend, but not enough of a play to make my mind up. im gonna buy something in a 177 flavour later this year probably xmas time, undecided thusfar, r-10, scorpion se, another hw100(but kt this time) or maybe a rapid???? a mate of mine owns a super-10, like brand new in 177, said he might get shut of it, so that could even be in the equation?????
