    Went to the pig farm.last night and put some barley out as bait. I couldn't believe the amount of rats that where about in certain parts of the farm. As I was putting the bait down, I could see the rats running about under the decking that the feed troughs sit on. Some of them seemed perfectly at home in the torch light. I put the bait down along 1 side of some pens. I then went down to the bottom row of arcs near the ditch to bait up, but noticed that a pen was open and the pigs had started to escape. I made a quick call to the farmer, and blocked the gate up so no more could escape. I we

    I have a compact cricket in .177. I feckin love it mate. Wouldn't change it.

    Blackpool air rifles had a tactical cricket in second hand. It was £1 cheaper than a brand new 1, but without the full warenty.

    Looking for a small light multishot for my Mrs first ratting gun. Will consider anything compact. Ideally with a scope but not essential.

    I just been thinking about 1 of these for the Mrs. For ratting. I been using my cricket of late for shooting out of the car on the driveway up to the farm. And even the cricket is slightly awkward within the confines of the Ford focus. Lol.

    Went again last night. Put the bait out, then the heavens opened. Sat in the car for a bit, and one came out on the verge at the side of the drive. She didn't make it back home. She rolled down the bank into the puddle after an acute case of lead poisoning.

    Random that's why I like to go on my own most of the time. I can just please my self. Treecreeper I don't envy you at all. Hope you feel better tomorrow. I managed to get out tonight and get a few. Will post pics tomorrow

    It works for me. You need the illuminator for the nv kit, you can't see anything without the nv kit. So it's just about as busy as it needs to be. It works really well.
