    I did my level 1 with Ronnie and level 2 with help of John Robbo, at Ronnie's it was a brill weekend I think it was £220 ish and £35 to register for level 2.

    Ive a 7mm08 which is very under estimated used it for the past 5years with some very good results.

    I have seen afew deer that have been attacked by dogs,Ive shot them afterwards and most of them were only any good for the muck heap the 1 with its throat ripped out wasnt looking over clever either Also I just wondered,How long does it take to traine your dog to take out certain deer or is it(you) not bothered,a nice big pregnant doe thats just about to drop would be quite an easy target for your mutt,I also seem to have some lads near me that are that piss weak they cant even take the deer away and just leave them, :clapper: Anyway cant be arsed to waste anymore of my time!cos when th

    I use 1 rifle for both fox and deer and its a Tikka 595 allweather in 7mm08, 100/120gr for fox 140gr for deer

    Yorksjt, Yes its my duel rifle 100gr Hollow-points@3100fps 120gr V-max@3050fps for the foxes, 140gr Partitions@2850 for the deer and all within 10mm@100yrds :icon_eek:The deer on youtube isn't the same one as above the one on youtube is a 95yrd neck shot.

    What is the meat damage like with the 7mm8 like on smaller deer? I have been told the .308 causes less damage than a .243 as it is a slower bullet but as I understand the 7mm is faster than the .308.     The best thing would be to make your way across to East Yorkshire and have a go yourself,that is an invite, my rifle is a standard out of the box Tikka 595 that Ive owned for a few years now and still produces very tight groups, the boxes are 10mm squares @100m,I was out zeroing my 7mil and a shared .243 and this was 1 shot from each rifle
