  1. Have you ever actually taken big game with a bow ? And what do you consider a long time ?...just establishing how much knowledge you actually have on the subject cause as of right now it sounds like you have none. Your "true" is bullshit...
  2. I was surprised at the guy who hired the patterdale....seemed very bunny hugger; but appearances can be decieveing. Good story.
  3. Thanks rowey....very neat site . Typically the same time every year ?
  4. What's a game fair ? What's on display and what not ? Sounds fun....
  5. The really scary part ? This person is allowed to vote ....
  6. When using dogs, I usually have a handgun in a holster as opposed to a long gun. Just so much easier when dealing with the dogs to have the revolver in a holster and out of the way. Even if we are going to catch the pig live or use spears or knives to dispatch, the revolver comes along anyway .
  7. Ok, we are on the same page ... Any pig that surpasses 400 lbs. , by and large, has been fed and penned at some point . But I would not consider a pig that has been trapped and relocated a domestic pig.
  8. What's your source, Ned, for the amount of large pigs we have here that are domestic ? I can assure you the pigs in my neck of the woods are every bit as wild as yours.
  9. Happy birthday ( and Mother's Day ) !!!
  10. Thanks for the replys all. I hate to hear that the Airedale isn't being bred as a working dog over there anymore. Here's the parents....
  11. They will certainly chase...that's the part you kind of have to work around. The chase is all there, it's the return game that requires some work. Not the parents, I'll find pics of them; but these are some litter mates of the sire.I know I have pics of Tagger somewhere...on my lunch break I'll find pics of Tagger , the sire , when I get home.
  12. I say we need to put e-collars and start 'em off learning blind retrieves after they have been through a session or several of force fetch.
  13. Meet my two newest members....picking up later this month. They should make for excellent coyote tollers and coon dogs if their parents are any indication.
  14. I was hoping to hear that , mate... I'll keep you posted on their progress. Like what I see so far, but it's very early in the game .
  15. how were they bred 2 full breds or cross to cross (was dog the lab or springer) First cross....dam a Springer and sire a Lab.
  16. Here'd the deal. (at least from my perspective anyway! ) I don't class myself as an European. I feel that the UK as a country has far more in common with the US than those pesky countries to the east, America's problem is usually our problem. This is the sole reason for the bad feeling aired on this thread towards America. It's not the Average American man in the street that we're pissed at, but this genuinely feels like a kick in the teeth after we've followed America in to so many conflicts in recent years. Where's ya spunk Malty?! You're starting to sound like some tree hug
  17. I am thinking that'd be a good cross...
  18. I was called out to a prison riot in West Texas about a year ago ....and ended up having to give a press conference on the situation. My team and I drew straws to see who would have to do it...I "won".
  19. British Petroleum is affiliated with US oil companies - Hmm good question about Hillary C word biach from liberal la la land. God to hear from ya Arron! Remember all the squawking about "NO BLOOD FOR OIL !!" and how Bush and Cheney were just pawns for big oil that we heard from the left ? While I believe that to be true, it was Clinton doing alot of that squawking . Seems she's grazing in the same pasture. You get my PM ,SGS ?
  20. We recently picked up a pair of Springador pups...two eight week old girls. So far , I am very impressed with how genuinely easy they are to be around and how well they accept their new home. I must say, as a general rule I am not a big fan of crosses as it seems like an attempt to re-invent the wheel. But, I may be wrong, and have no problem admitting that. Especially in this case. Anyway, in the US it is very rare to find crosses of anykind in the uplands. But it's my understanding that Springadors are somewhat common in the UK.What's your guys impressions on them, especially for flus

To right...I don't how many times I have had a problem with a coun
  22. Hillary Clinton's a split tail ? Who knew...I thought it was dude in drag wearing a pant suit. Certainly explains why she's minding someone elses business.
