We have had loads off rats lately up the stables , we don't even bait the traps anymore just cover the trap in wood shavings and bait the run , have them daily this way

Thanks for all the replies , I do work both my lurchers together in the day , my other lurcher doesn't bother the bitch in question when she has caught a rabbit , but this could be a factor , I think she needs some one to one retrieve training through the summer, hopefully this will work

No bitch is not in heat , it's really strange the bitch just takes off with the rabbit , even more annoying when she never used to do it ?

My lurcher bitch has stop retrieving rabbits , not just retrieving she as gone to the extreme she will catch a rabbit and run off with it crunching the rabbit and trying to eat it , she won't come near me with the rabbit , never had this problem with lurchers before or with this bitch , all of a sudden towards the end of last season she started it , has anyone had this problem ? , the bitch will be no good in the field next season if this problem persists , any info would be great help ?

My mate found a small hob last week were he works , up on the mountain miles from any home , someone has lost it , it's been well handled and fed , I've given it a new home
