Another one I had once upon a time. Boudreaux BooCoo. Sweet liitle bicth. http://www.apbt.onli...ee&dog_id=95324 She was bred to Clemmon's Yogi and produced well, if memory serves me the dogs off of her and Scar were better. I wish I had some of this old blood to run under your white dog. But the county put most of it down years ago.

"Mosby- You walk in to lawyers office facing a 25 to life bid.... don't you look up at the wall to see his degree?" Seriously??!? Those pictures of EBTs must have been pretty traumatic for you. You saw "signs you didn't like?" Really? So they what...told you to jump in and and start yammering about draw string pants and overweight women??? It appears your instincts are about as off as your sense of entittlement. People don't OWE you an explanation. Tell me... Do you often accuse people, (that take issue with something you do or say), of supporting child molestors? "What thi

Here's a half brother to Swamper's mother I used to have. http://www.apbt.online-pedigrees.com/modules.php?name=Public&file=printPedigree&dog_id=15218

Ask and you shall recieve He's my conformational nightmare, but he's bred out the arse to be a bulldog, not a princess. As you can see, 'looks' alone aren't an issue here, unless they hinder performance. This build isn't at all uncommon for inbred Six Bits dogs. They have certain attributes that would lend to putting the breaks on a runner. Probably better lead in catch dogs. Here's one I remember from way back when. He was a solid bulldog. http://www.apbt.online-pedigrees.com/modules.php?name=Public&file=printPedigree&dog_id=13254 I bet Gnasher is right. This ov

I'm gonna talk him into a jagd drahthaar cross that will probably look much worse, but get the same job done.lol
-
Hey EBT you ever think about crossing one with that old Eli dog??? I'd swap you a hard head for one if you ever do it.

I guess it's just about trying something different Yokel. I considered it a few years ago right about the time the one good one I knew of got killed by a hog. I did some asking around, even with some show types. I eventually spoke with the president of a club in Dallas. She was a sweet old lady in her eighties. She said to me, "son.... I know what your thinking. You think I don't want to reccomend one of these dogs because it might get hurt, or worse." Then she told be that she grew up hunting and that these dogs just wouldn't be happy doing what I wanted them to do. Said they liked to lay on

I've seen em take an ear and hold on. But I wasn't looking at it from that perspective. It makes perfect sense though. I have seen in Australia where they cross them up with good results Bulljack mentions. Might be kind of cool to see what you could get out of one bred with an eye on actually using the dog.
-
I'm curious about the breathing part WBT mentions. I've seen a few others use them as catch dogs. Never thought of it untill she mentioned it.

She goes out with me all the time. I can't bring myself to hog hunt with her yet. But I'm getting older and am probably way too careful. She likes hunting whatever. We usually stick to rabbits or coon. Another couple of years and she'll be ready for whatever.lol Doc I couldn't care less what you call me or yourself.lol Like I said... I ain't mad at you. If you want to jump everytime someone starts talking about dogs, and interrigate the hell out of em... I'm cool with that. Strange way to pass the time though chief.

Here a picture of my youngest Good Golly Miss Molly with one I took this year. She's already taking small game with me and enjoys hunting varmints with the dogs. I'm usually not surprised when people hunt in the rural south. I'm surprised when they don't.
-
Just looked them up. Tough looking dogs. I know a guy in NC that is using one bred like that I believe to stop runners.
-
just out of intrest do you use any of the american bulldogs for pig work and if so what are the better lines of bulldogs being used, They are just like anyother bull breed and seem to be bred for purposes other than the ones they were intended for. If you can get one from worker to worker and I don't mean schutzhund your off to a good start. Plenty of people still use them for catchdogs but it's hard to beat a good pit.

Funny..... I could have sworn that I put underneath that lion picture something to the effect of " got this from a friend this morning....thought it was pretty cool." lol Stuntman..I am one of the lucky ones. I get to hunt nearly every day. Some days that translates into no more than a couple of hours. But just as often it is much longer. I am fortunate enough to have bought land when it was cheap and live in a state where I can pretty much hunt whatever, I want whenever I want. I am no expert at anything, and do not claim to be. But I'd wager my dogs saw more hunting last month than most.

You ARE an ass Doc. That doesn't necessarily make you a bad guy. And I didn't say your pup looked sorry.... just fat which surprises the hell out of me because you DO hunt. I don't know EBT or her husband.. My guess is they do hunt. People do not usually keep feral hogs unless they either hunt, or like working the pen for points. In either case it doesn't amount to a hill of beans in my book. I don't know the Jones or their dogs. Never even spoke to em. But if I did I'd be civil and keep my wallet in my pocket. EBT ain't selling nothing. Conversations are free and we're all adults here.

Give him a minite WBT. He'll be back shortly after he spell checks his next not so carefully considered insult. It means allot to him.
-
Don't feel obligated to respond Chief.... The answer is pretty obvious.
-
Doc you don't need to justify the way you do things to me. It's your feed your pouring to em. You asked me if all my dogs looked like my best dog, now your telling me that you said " I asked about your best Jagd, (meaning best looking) because I was trying to make the point that just because they all dont look like what we think they should, doesnt mean we cant want them to." Since when is your best working dog defined by it's looks? Your contradicting yourself. I agree with the statement that " looks wont save a poor worker, any more than lack of them will cull a good worker."
-
The dog looks like an athlete. My hat's off to the breeder. If he works like he looks it's a step in the right direction.
-
The lady had a picture up before you bestowed all of that wisdom on her about to avoid looking like an internet hunter.lol No big deal. My "best" jagds look like hammered sht. for the most part. They ain't for looking at. Hell the breed standard doesn't produce a dog that is worth looking at for long if it's standing still. You have a good looking EBT there. I know that looks count last, but it doesn't hurt to have a good looking prospect if that's what it is. I only said what is obvious. It's pretty heavy especially for a prospect. We all do things different though. My hat's off to y

Then why does yours look like it just got back from Thanksgiving dinner? You can't tell me that dog can run for thirty minutes. Take care

Its true that no pictures doesnt mean you dont hunt, but it sure helps folks get a better idea of what your talking about. We live in the USA where we have the ability to hunt in ways many folks on here can not. They enjoy our pics, and since its all legal....why not post some? Im hoping to see lots of pics of your EBTs working, just to know that there are still some actually being used. Way too often folks on the WWW do most their hunting on the computer, and in their imaginations...so you can understand folks being a little skeptical. If your gonna get on the WWW you better have thick skin,

No I never owned any from Carla. Pretty sure the last I saw her was at Brumley's. I had her mom Oreo for a while. She was an honest bulldog like her daddy.
-
I bred his dam. Thanks for the memory

That last one is interesting. Brumley's Oreo was a nice bitch.
