  1. well done mate makes me sick seeing how some treat there animals, i took on a jill last yr that had been kept in a cage just over a foot long and filthy, she was very under weight and lost most her fur had sores on her feet and was riddled in fleas, after a few wks of lookin after,her fur grew back and turned out to be a cracking silver who has gone on to bolt me a few bunnys.
  2. i would gut them aswel mate,i used to chuck the odd one with its guts still in them until i noticed little red worms in the grass bag and intestines

  4. hi, iv'e just been out to my ferts and noticed that one of my jills vulva is starting to swell,do you think she may have already been mated by one of my hobs or doe's she have to be fully in season, sorry for the daft questions.

  6. same here mate,me and a mate spent most of last year catching small carp on light tackle most from untouched farm ponds found using google earth and an os map and one is choked with weed and full of koi,ghosties mirrors and commons,also fished for some wild carp went like stink and they only grew to 5lbs in there,i still fish for the biggens aswell.
  7. i feed mine rabbit squirrel pigeon pheasant chicken corvids anything fur and feather except rats, wouldn't dream of feeding mine that dry crap either.

  9. ok cheers mate , yeah they were clean looking country ferals wouldn't dream of feeding them scruffy town things,i used to feed them culled racing pigeons so the farm ones are probley no different.
  10. hello all, a mate brought me some feral pigeons for the ferrets he had shot with his air rifle yesterday do i need to worry about the ferrets ingesting any pellets or will they be ok cheers.

  14. what a cracking looking ferret in the top picture is it a pure polecat cross not sure mate sumone found it on the road with a dead one and gave it me was in a mess when i got her was very nervous and sprayed alot at first but i handle it a good few times a day and its pretty chilled out now, as for it being a polecat i dont know might be a cross although i have seen quite a few nr me and a lot of roadkills all very dark in colour.

  18. no mate didn't gut them or anything he wants more and anything else i can get so i will be going back next weekend Good for you , wouldnt it be funny if the anti had a meal in the pub & ete your rabbit , there not all veggies , most of them love meat & think it comes from tesco wrapped in cling film Nice way of making a few bob & getting out there with your ferrets haha yeah funnily enough we said the same,it would be class if he went for a pub grub and ate our rabbits
  19. out today with a mate his dog and my ferret only a small bag today dog managed 5 was an enjoyable day until sum sarted given us abuse for hunting shame he didnt have the balls to get off his push bike, any way on the way home we walked past a pub and the chef wanted to buy the rabbits £2.50 a rabbit he gave us is that about right.
