  1. Well done. I hope at least this weekend would be dry...
  2. Well done! I really like this wood it is so different to the conifers we have here.
  3. I am glad you enjoyed it. I am using a Panasonic TM700 camcorder and small flexible tripod attached to a high seat shooting rail. High seat filming is quite easy. If you need any tips I am happy to respond to any questions. I have a couple of tips for self filming give it a go.
  4. Wullie, I am surrounded by Scots all tight buggers it must be contagious I used to be more generous
  5. Thank guys. I do shooting and filming myself cant afford a camera man and children are still too small to take them with me
  6. The weather was crap over the festive period it really made no sense going out. Rain and wind every day. It was actually the first dry day and I spend the morning in a high seat overlooking edge of plantation. A nice doe showed up and I managed to squeezed off a shot. She took off like a rocket and I thought I missed, but found pins and paint on the ride, but not much blood inside the plantation, so followed in roughly in the direction she went and there she was maybe 70m away shot through the lungs.
  7. I use Harkila roesack and carried two roe in it or a red calf as seen at the end of this vid It is quite good but bulky with the plastic insert. Some stitches are now looking as they would give any time but still working fine. I believe there is a bigger one called sikasack or something?
  8. Very nice picture Martin Now you need to catch it and release in Scotland they are so slow getting here
  9. Nice one. It's been really bad weather over the last couple of weeks...
  10. I agree with others most likely a lymph node. But even if it was a tumor I dont think there is any risk eating the meat. The tumor itself may not be too tasty though
