    LOL l knew l would get the blame you :wankerzo4: :wankerzo4: l dont hunt with big e but l know him as a mate don't know any of his spots and he does not know mine but we do have a bit off ferreting land that both would hunt. So men get the facts right before shouting out names :wankerzo4: Sitting here trying figure out who he has been hunting with this year and who it could be.

    There should not be a pecking order there is one leader and that is you if fighting gets out hand put the two off them in there place. Leave them to it and you end up with dead dog or a big vet bill

    Start off with small walls getting bigger the better he gets dogs will jump a wall quicker then a fence. Once he jump walls move on to fences (wooden) and again small to big. After all that he be ready for sheep wire try get piece and nail it on to your side gate or where your dog as to jump if he wants to go out.He soon catch on never to late. What ever you do don't bring him near sheep wire with barbed wire on top until he is jumping well nothing worse then dog getting caught up in barbed wire put them off jumping for good.

    So what l have taking from all that that some people hunt with there pups and some dont but most leave it till September to run there pups. 5 months in a pups life is long time where it can learn so much and gain a lot but as some people said pup is still young and no rush. Just hope everyone's pups turn out the way they want if started early or started late best luck with them all

    Speedie that very good answer the pup wont see a hare till the start off the season if ones gets up over mountain when out for walk there nothing l can do about that. A lot people hold there coursing pups back till about 17 18 months what age you give young pup its 1st hare iceman hare rabbit fox or anything else i have hunted them all it dosent matter if the dog is to young its to young full stop cant tell yea what age as the dog usually tells me all dogs are diffrent thats where the real dog man comes in he can see when he is ready a big dog usually takes a bit longer Most pups th
