12 in the last six days out but should of been 12 today but you cant get them all

went out today for a bit of bushing with one of my mates i had to lend a dog so a quick call to twobobdog1 and i was off to pick his little choc bitch up(sister to mine) my mate had an 8 munth old black bitch he got from me .........we went to my mates permo were there is a big dyke that runs for over a mile the dog were strait on from the word go and foxes seamed to be going all ways and we got cought out not ready and missed the first 4 the dogs were doing well but we couldnt shoot for sh.t then the number five bolted and a quick disspach number 1 but then the next 4 also got away then we

had a day out with forager off here today and checked a few spots the first few earths didnt hold put then we came across a 5 eyed spot that looked spot on so we tryed my little bitch and she shot in and could be heard digging on after about 15 mins she started baying so we got a mark and it was only .9 .....so a quick dig bitch lifted and a nice size dog fox dispached after a tidy up we set of to cheeck some more earths after hours of searching and cheecking we found another good looking earth and foragers bitch was marking strong so he collerd her up and in she went same thing again we

try a more experience dog for marking and give him plenty of digging to get him back on track but let him see empty earths aswell or they can get in the habit of thinking every hole you lead them to is occupied

has he been seeing plenty of his chosen quarry lately ? cos some dogs do it out of frustration or its because hes still young and learning

since he was 11 months old ive dug this dog in lots of different places real big spots and deep spots and places were ive seen tryed and tested dogs fail and hes never let me down ................and hes a digging dog at the end of the day and he could be lost tomorrow and i didnt want to be left thinking i wish i bred from him.........i no the risk with breeding from young dogs and so do the lads i gave pups to but if it all goes well and he keeps doing what he does then i will be happy but if he jacks and it all goes wrong i can only blame myself but only time will tell and he will keep
