  1. If they can steal the bow perch from your mates garden I am not sure its the most secure place3 for him to keep his hawk You can make them or you can buy em from online I got one from Crown Falconry but preffer the more expensive one from falconry fabrications just because that one is soild stainless where as my crown falconry one is stainless steel tube. You get what you pay for both work fine I just prefer the solid as opposed to the pipe I am assuming it was a static bow and not a portable? Crown Falconry do a fantastic portable about one and I filled it with lead works brilli

  5. Thats a bit harsh Scooby granted he could do with a mentor but just because he did not know about the rings doesnt mean he wont be able to care for and fly the bird. I find the Falconry World a little sad in the way that it closes ranks very quickly on new comers Maybe you should be speaking with the falconer that sold him the bird. collie if you want any help or advise then PM me and I will try and answer any questions you may have
  6. I make most of my travel boxes from 3mm ply and 1" x 1" wood for the frame alot cheaper than buying them

  10. Hi I am from Seaton Sluice I am interested in trying to find people to go out with hunting with dogs ferrets hawks and even shooting. I must admit I am more interested in ferreting as I have 2 hobs and a jill and hawking as I have a couple of harris hawks than shooting as I only have a .22 air rifle. Main problems I have is finding permissions for land to hunt Done some pest control shooting pigeons (nice and easy sitting ducks pardon the pun) and rats (those buggers are hard to aim on as they nearly never stop moving) Happy to hunt anything thats legal Getting the odd
