    Hi, until recently I've had half a dozen chickens roaming free in my garden, all ex battery hens. I had a visit from Mr Fox during the day yesterday and took 5 of the six! I now have just 1 lonely chicken left. I'm after half a dozen more to keep it company and get a few eggs. The single chicken is now safely in it's run until I get chance to sort the fox out. Is there anyone in the north shropshire area willing to sell a few chickens? ATB Phil

    Hi, I'm looking at adding a semi auto shotgun to my collection of rifles and o/u shotgun. I've been looking at the beretta A400 xplor unico with the kick off system. Has anyone on here got any experience of the gun, what are your thoughts of it? All reviews I've found have been positive but all are written by journalists and not everyday users! Thanks for your time, Phil

    Cheers Matt, my dog is from a rescue centre, not sure on exact breeding but it's thought she is boxer x bull mastiff with possibly a bit of great Dane! It's a guessing game really though! Are you having much luck with the rifle range? ATB Phil

    My girlfriend wants to come shooting clays with me but she finds the 12 o/u a bit heavy and harsh with the kick. I've been toying with the idea of getting a good semi auto for myself but also for my girlfriend to use. Am I correct in thinking that with the inertia system then the recoil is significantly reduced? What semi auto's would you recommend? Thanks Phil

    Yep mate , still on the original farm plus the one i just got is actually 3 farms as 2 of his neighbouring farms have asked if i can look after them as well, also have acres of corn to keep the pigeons off in the summer . better get a 223 now i think if i can find a mentor Dyfed Powys insist on it now for a first centrefire no matter how much experience you have.     I think Martyn Bray of Countryman of Derby had one in a little while ago, might be worth a call? He's a decent bloke to deal with, bought a few things from him and had a good chat with him in his shop and at the game fair. ATB Phil
