IF there are crayfish in the water then thats nothing but trouble. I wouldnt bother, sit a swim for an hour then move.. ive fished for pike for 20yrs, IF they are there and feeding, your in, if not then they are there for another day. remember, its called "FISHING" for a reason and not "CATCHING!"...
