    The Environment Agency is investigating one or two complaints which allegedly involve the two chaps in this picture. They concern pike removal and anglers using a gaff on a Humberside day ticket water, run by a well-known tackle shop.     i am just wondering what everyone on here uses to keep their feet warm (we all know about socks and the rest) last year while out fishing the winter months i was wearing thick socks and waders but stuck on a boat all day or a riverbank my feet always felt like blocks of ice.... so what is the best footwear to keep the feet from freezing up ?? niall_b73

      got myself a few savage gear lures today and kitted up with braid. just gonna be spinning/jigging/trolling. there is a full moon this weekend into the bargain so hopefully that will help

    john, all is good. not geting out as much as i would like to but thats life. when we do go out catching a few but no biggies as of yet. most the waterways up our way are choked with weed making fishing with the boat damn near impossible :wallbash: hopefully it will soon die off never made it down your way yet but do hope to give it a lash in the future. i been keeping an eye on your local website down there, some nice fish being caught.... what about yourself any big ladies under your belt this season. niall_b73

    ok so santa has just came early :notworthy: and left me a spool of 50lb braid as well as a selection of savage gear lures (i love santa so much). :notworthy: my question is: is there a certain way to load the braid on to the spool ?? i have read different accounts where it is said to wet it before you put it on also to first tie mono line even if just a couple of foot to the spool first (to stop the line spinning on the spool) then tie the braid to the mono ?? basically i want to know how do you load your braid to your spool.... other than that i hope to hit a very little

    Angler fined for removing fish from lake An angler in the Fens has become the first to be prosecuted under new by-laws which forbid the removal of coarse fish from stillwaters. Mark Whisker, from Wisbech, was fined £250 and ordered to pay costs of £127 in the landmark prosecution, at King's Lynn magistrates court.
