you can go wildfowling for...free! ythan estuary, findhorn bay...few other places, so long as you stay between the mean low and high water marks while shooting and use only non toxic shot. if you are a member then ask basc, they are very helpful or for other places to go wildfowling go on google and search for scottish NNR's (national nature reserves) email them and ask for a list of places where ther are no restrictions on wildfowling. the tay estuary has some good wildfowling but some areas can be abit dodgy i was up at the ythan estuary a week before xmas...a few ducks and geese about

hi all my dad and uncle and a few friends of thers use to visit scotland every season for some wildfowling, i went with them a couple of times and thoroughly enjoyed it. we shot at cruden bay near aberdeen. I heard it was legal to shoot anywhere on the coast below high water mark in scotland without paying a fee, subscribing to any club(s) or telling anyone etc is this still the case or are ther more rules on it now? i am wanting to go back to scotland in january and try my luck on cruden bay, findhorn bay and cromarty....can i do this without paying or asking permission etc?? please hel

i am going to apply for a day permit for sometime in january, maybe in the 3rd or 4th week (my calendar tells me its full moon on15th january!?), i have never shot on the wash and i am wondering if ther is anyone who would be willing to take me out for a morning and evening flight(moonlight), (not so sure i want to be walking on marshes i dont know and dont want to disturb any other shooters by not knowing which way to go!)! I have shot geese and ducks inland and on the foreshore in scotland so i am not a beginner but by know means an expert or amazing shot! I do not own any decoys or hide

o/u, semi auto, pump or s/s??? I shoot mainly pigeon rabbit and crow, but also do some wildfowling. For in tight spaces (in the hide, out of sunroof in ma car) i use a benelli super 90 semi auto which is also used for wildfowling, it recycles all shells i have put through it from 26gram- 52gram obviously a semi auto woudlnt be an option on a pheasant shoot so i would say over and under, what most people say is an allround gun, i use a miroku 3700 which is choked quarter and 3 quarter, its about 30yrs old now but it still works mint pointed in the right direction it puts plenty of lead in th
