  2. hi jamie,the russell dog(bo) is a big un,he was born a single pup,got all the food.his dad is stocky short haired jrt(now 14.5yrs old)and his mum is leggy parson russell pictured in signature.1st pic is dad@14yrs,2nd pic is bo at 1 week,fatty.3rd pic bo with mum @1 week.
  3. i'm just starting 3rd year in twin axle caravan.split with mrs 4.5 yr ago short term rented 2 houses,got fed ud with packing stuff up and moving because tennancy not renewed.very good friend who owns 7acre small holding allowed me to put my caravan at his place.have full awning with sauna,tumble dryer,dog beds,cupboards and dart board(what more does a man need).just gone through 1 of coldest winters in years no prob,good shower,full cooker,comftable bed,very warm.caravan allready paid for itself(cost £180p.week to rent house and bills).lovly country views.feel very lucky.regards CP

  5. thinking selling my 15 yr jrt,he's got bit of a liking for fillet steak twice a week and has had a season ticket for man utd last 10 yrs,only want £7900 for him,bargain cost twice that over the years.any trial welcome
  6. thanks redneck,i thought the same, i much prefer to see my dogs ploughing through rough ground and reed beds etc flushing stuff from cover rarther than digging my dogs up and was thinking of maybe putting these 2 together in the future with a veiw to keeping 1 back.seems my plans been brought forward.
  7. my big russell dog,31 lb and 16.5inch tts has pupped my whippet,whippet/bull bitch(powells pocket rocket)37lb,18.5 inch.pups due in about 4 weeks.dog got great nose and works earths and cover brilliantly.bitch is fast as feck over short distance has retrieved long eared bunnys but still young(18month).i will be keeping 1 back. both sire and dam very strong dogs.

  14. she great,on 2nd season with her,she doesn't normally take much stick when working,quick learner after loosing k9tooth from lower jaw last year.our quarry battled past her at least 2 times as i know leaving her a bit sore over the weekend but loads of tlc,antibiotics and pain relief and she's nearly brand new. thanks cp.

  18. took dogs out this afternoon with mate and his beddys plan was to flush few bunnys and give dogs a good run on 30 acre plot of rough ground with plenty of cover, heading back to truck when pip(my russell bitch)dispeared into big hole at top of a steep bank,after 10 mins got a mark 1.1m started digging,very heavy clay.heard her baying well,just befor broke through could hear them kicking off under us and then they both moved,after had a fag and breather got another mark aprox 8 m away 1.4m below started digging again .half hour later broke through right on top of them,pip had worked hard for ab

Very true rough coated the knocker box was great for pin pointing a dog but im afraid there is no bigger heap of bollocks than the knocker box and coller when it decided to pack up when a dog was to ground I lost count of how many of these deben collers I went through but i am still using the same bellman coller that i replaced the deben with when they first came out . I personally would rather sacrifice a tiny bit of accuracy for total piece of mind that the equipment is going to be reliable and not give up the ghost because it gets wet or just for no apparent reason when your dog is in t
