    Great day was had yesterday, the ladies digging comp went DOWN well,lol, fair play to the girls. Really enjoyed the racing, was very different from the norm and generated excitement. Fair play.

    I cant believe what I am reading here. Dirtydogz are you the same person that warned us against attending the show in the first place, if I remember you pre warned us about LVF, loud loyalist music and general threatening behaviour towards visiting people from the south. Well how wrong could you be. The local natives made us feel most welcome on the day and went out of their way to accommodate up in any way they could.     Yeah at the end of the day I seen the judge going round the field with a metal detector, he was the KEY component at the show, fair play.

    Lads why did ye not approach shane and make him aware of this situation on the day. I know where your concerns are coming from regarding this issue, a lot of time and effort goes into the running of a show as you well know,,, and I am sure shane would have been grateful for your input on the day. Its a pity regarding the negative feedback on this forum, I was at one of their shows and had a great day, but like everything else in life you just can't get it right all the time. I am sure the boys will come back bigger and better next year.

    Same here had a cracken day and I must point out that I was made feel most welcome by all involved in the show and all in attendance. Very friendly bunch of critters lol, Met some new friends, was just a great day out.

    I really dont think you can please everyone all the time, but I think Ian has got it right with the rings outside the main event, most folk who attend these fairs want to ramble around the stands and take in the fair, which is fine, these people have no problem paying in to the main event, but as Lurcher/terrier folk I think we are getting the best of both worlds from Moira, we get in free to Moira to show the dogs and should we wish to enter the main event then its our choice, so I think all Game Fairs should really head down this road. JMHO...
