  1. I just picked up my new pup this morning 7 weeks old (Patterdalex parson JRT cross, she is so chute. I have never tried to post photos on this forum [bANNED TEXT] so I hope they show. These shot were her first hour at her new home, she is fast asleep right now. Got one photo on will try to load 3 more. This is a 7 week old bitch with a copper hair coat.

  3. Bunks keep us posted on the pups progress and if you can post more photos latter on that would be great. I am looking for a bitch pup from working lines but not just sure yet on what breed. I need a dog that can be a pet too as the kids will want to be part of the package. I have worked with Lakelands but not Pats' and I need a dog that can work above ground as well, track a wounded fox or hunt rats. At my age I would be digging as much as I did Maybe you can tell me if this cross would fit that bill. Anyway all the best with them. PS. I live in N. Ireland

  6. Hi guys. I just bought my 8yr old son 3 bantams at the weekend. I have a really nice coop which I made. My wife also wants 3 or 4 chickens for eggs and just pets. Although the birds are or will be managed, the chickens will have access to an open top pen. I live in the country with one neighbour next door and a small development 60yrs down the road. My neighbour has a cat that kill and hunts all day, they half time never feed it going of on holidays and letting it run at large. If this cat attempts to kill my chickens or bantams, can I shoot it?   7. Ok, maybe we can talk now about these pups. Ruger8 Have you sold any? I am confused when someone says "no papers" why is that ---- was the dog of the same bloodline?? I know nothing of the breed but I think they may meet my hunding needs so: - compared to a Jack Russel would they be as good underground. I am not look for King Kong just a wee working dog. - Blood trailing on a fox should be what it is good at----right? - Would they be able to track on a fox scent a lead me to the den???   11. First post so hope I do this right . Joined this forum as I was searching for working terriers. Been shooting and hunting for most of my life but seriously for 36 years. Mainly vermin control; fox, crows, pigeons etc. I also stalk deer when I can affort it. Enjoy target shooting too all sorts from clays, rifle and pistol.
