after looking through the other appleby thread and seeing pictures of the horses on various other sites anybody have any idea as to how much these horses change hands for . the black and white cobs are the ones that interest me the most . and have any of you ever bought one from a fair thanks

hi i can count the number of nets ive made on my fingers so im definately no expert and started in the same way as you asking the question on here . a couple of the answers i got was to get somebody to teach you ( strongly recomended ) or brian brindads net making dvd . i opted for the dvd as did not no anybody that could teach me although i did get some offers off here if i lived close . i really could not get on learning through textbook pictures but picked it up really quick after watching the dvd hope this helps

sorry forgot too keep tabs on this the gun resembles the one pictured in 3jackwhite s picture but fox seems to ring a bell for some reason im sure the gun would unscrew into 3 sections is the fox gun mentioned still made does anybody know thanks

i also could not get this at my local horse fair ( stow ) brand spanking l200 07 plates everwhere and if their was 1 their was a 100 of the things how the hell do they do it beats me as well as the brand new red audi a4 convertable absolutly plastered in mud whats that all about ?

a few years back i used to see an air rifle advertised in magazines and am just wondering if it is still being made as recent magazines i havent seen it in and always wanted one when i was a teenager im not really sure of the maker but the gun could be taken apart into three peices and would actually unsrcrew im sure i know this seems pretty vague but any help would be appreciated as would be very interested in purchasing one

why would cross cut be harmful ie short stips of paper is it just a case of them swallowing it when i started this of i thought great now im starting to have second thoughts

hi is shredded paper a safe alternative to using straw as a bedding material i did think it was a no no !! because of the ink in the paper but have read a couple of posts lately where they seam to be using it thanks

where could i get a copy of this dvd can i get this of the net is it just about snaring or other things as well will have to wait till pay day and no !!!! i will not be making any copies

would love to go but cant drive nobodys willing to take me and its about 5 and half hours on train will just have to buy it on dvd and maybe go next year

obviously an acre is a term used to describe the size of a piece of land . but what is an acre in square metres ie is it say 100m by 100m and an acre being an old term (now hectres) was an acre measured in yards and a hectre measured in metres . ( yes i am bored )

hi can i please first admit that im new to net making as well and somebody more experienced will probablly be along to point you in the right direction . it sounds as if the knots on the first row are slipping when you come to tie the second row to eliminate this you have to make sure that when you pull the twine down onto the mesh gauge the knot sits above the loop this traps the twine coming through the loop if the knot sits below the loop it doesnt trap the twine resulting in the knot slipping . very hard for me to explain but hope you can work it out good luck
