i use a BSA super sport it does me well on rabbits rats and pigeons and you should be able to pick one up for around that price

umm you could try walking him right up on squaters so he see's them get up infront of him or if the other dogs bring back live to hand u could drop one for him.

trick is to just persist with a biter the more you handle them the more they'll learn its not a bad thing and in regards to work ive had a couple of ferrets given to me from pet homes and they have worked perfectly fine just again needs time

both just as good as each other got a bull greyhound myself only 23tts takes rabbits for fun and deals with larger critters easily

currently using a clulite myself with a £20 12v battery from tool station nice and light set up and can handle fair sized fields lamps also got a handy secondary bulb for fences and things

i use a cluelite works fine in small and medium sized fields its nice and light has extral bulb for jumoing fences and only needs a light battery although any of the lamps the guys have mentioned are also good.
