Plywood is used for the high jump,it will start at 4ft then the height will rise by 1ft,2ft or even 3ft boards,this rise depending on the size of Lurcher and when it gets to a certain height 6 inch boards can be used to finalise the maximum jump height. Is it like a solid flat wall and a straight drop to the ground on the far side? Any pictures? I have no pictures of the jump to post,but yes its a straight drop to the ground,you will see it on the day it's a great set up A picture of the high jump will appear on this soon .

As this is a first time event ever at Moira and anywhere else for well over a decade Dogs Balls,we are trying to encourage all Lurcher enthusiast's to take part in this event in what should be a demanding challange for most Lurcher's,i think you would also be surprised DB that the great majority of Lurcher's attending modern day events are working dog's,but anyone that keeps a Lurcher for showing purpose's only,well i would say good luck to them as i think it takes all type of folk to make our events successful.
