Hi folks, all your constructive criticism / points on how we can improve the high jump event for next year have been taken on board and will implemented into next years high jump event,after all it was the first year this event has taken place at Moira Game Fair but will not be the last and hopefully will grow year after year into a more popular event in years to come. Had another great day today at Moira with the straight racing & high jump events .Saturdays Supreme Champion was won by William Mckeown's Deerhound Cross Lurcher .Saturdays Simulated Racing Was Won By Tom Barry's Lucky .Sundays Under 21" & 23" Straight Racing was won by Rose McCoy's Zola Under 21" & Diego Under 23" .Sundays Over 23" Straight Racing Champion Was Won By Fiona Devlin's Maverick .Sundays Over All Straight Racing Champion Was Won Rose McCoy's Diego (for the 4th year running) .Sundays Terrier Racing Was Won By a great new addition to our shows in

Thanks folks glad all had a good day except for wetnoseman whom seems to have a problem with the Lurcher judging,but your never going to please everyone,John Rooney judged the Lurchers and done a top class job on the day and this is just not my opinion as a lot of the Lurcher folk praised his performance to me during and after the show. .Entrys Will Be Taken Today From 11.00am For Straight Racing & High Jump Event.. WIll the entry times for racing be at the same time for both days?? Also will there be another high jump on the Sunday? Looks like it will shape up to be a brilliant day, hope all runs nice and smooth for you Ian. See you there. O and...I will be taking home the High Jump Trophy . The entrys on Saturday are from 10.00 am with Whippets racing first and Sunday entrys are from 11.00am. I think this Dogs Balls bull cross lurcher is going to be hard to beat at this event according to him..

Yes if there's enough Whippets on the day of course we will give them a run,we just did'nt want to tramp on Janet & Co toe's as they have a Whippet event on the same day There is a few lurche folkr taking their whippets up on Sunday hoping to get a wee run We have had no Whippet racing planned for Sunday so therefore there will not be a trophy for a Whippet race. The Dunsilly Whippet events is taking place on Sunday and it would be good to see this event well supported. But if there is time after the racing events on Sunday then we can give them a run.
