  1. if tou are going to keep them together it woulb be a good idea to feed them seperate other than that they should be fine.
  2. how do you pay for the poly it doesn;t say.do they accept paypal. He accepts Pay Pal... I've just ordered some, and not a bad price , so thanks again NRigger! Buggsbunny . Think about it .A rabbit emerging from a burrow is probably only going to see a net of any colour as a silouhette against the light. Then there is the fact that rabbits are probably colour-blind or certainly don't see colour as we do and are defintly are more attuned to detect movement than colour. The number of times that rabbits back-net into nets of all colours is the real indicater that the rabbit

  4. i like the idea of not loosing nets but dont u think when the rabbit sees souch bright colours he will turn back? i think it would be much better if you had high vis pegs or just the draw cords. whats your thaughts on this????
  5. no mate im with her all the time she is in the house with me and no i not missed her am i to early yet do you think ok just at 14days should be swelled normally i think you will find with most bitches they mostly bleed for 9/10 days then stand for a dog for 9/10 days then they are goin off for 9/10 days the cycle takes about 27/30 days from start to finnish correct me if i am wrong but thats what i have always gone bye.
  6. hope you dont mind me asking but i heard alot about greyhound ferrets but never seen any or at least i dont think i have so is there any chance you could put a pic or two up so i could just see what they look like thanks
  7. nice looking dog i"d like to see a pic with him facing the camera i like to see how straight they"r legs are
  8. if i was you i would try an find some good ground preferably with a lot of bull rushes you dont want her running into bramble straight away then do the retrieves in the rushes then start to put dummies balls out all the time pointing to the rush saying seek on then when she realises where your pointing the is something to find she will soon get the hang of things an she should start hitting all types of cover hope that helps a little.
  9. ok lads/laddies i can see this is an on goin isue so i just had a look at the information i was given by my vet when i had my litter docked i will write this as it is written/ MICRO-CHIPPING it is a legal requirement that docked pups be permanently marked they are twelve weeks old It is an offence to fail to do so MICRO-CHIPPING is the only approved method of permanent marking. when the puppy is chipped, wich MUST be carried out by vet or supervised veterinary nurse, then the chip number is entered on the certificate. at that point any subsequent owner can walk into a vet surgery with a docked
  10. i think as long as the new owners provide the vet with the correct paper work ie docking cert they will chip them i had my pups docked sold them without micro chips not a problem i wouldnt worry about it just tell the new owners take the docking cert to the vets when they go for their injections an have the chip at the same time sorted

  15. Hi i personally think they have a place but not round the neck of a dog under a year even 2yrs of age. I see to many people use them full time all day to work there dogs & to me that is a no,no. I dont see why people just dont train the dog first or seek advice as it is relativly easy to train cocker/ess or lab from my own experience to a steady standard for the field. It is when you start the dogs apprenticeship as i call it doing its first year of work that it all starts to come together & the dog starts to come on. Then say by 2-4yrs of age that the dog learns bad habbits & lear
  16. its all about getting your dog to associate the shot with something he enjoys eg a retreive a bit of food anything really but be sure to av some one else to help you let them fire the pistol a long way off preferably down wind of u take the shot away from him an as he gets better jus take him closer to the shot but it will take time dont rush it because it will set him back atb hope that helps you a little.
  17. some of the best lurchers i have seen run were bred from a husky greyhound atb hope she gets a good home an not just to breed from her.
  18. thats good sound adice fair play but u wont go far wrong with a little beddy whippet personaly that would be my first choice as a lurcher an for something to work the cover u wont go far wrong with a little springer!! as long as its well trained!!!
