    dont buy it mate.save your money up and buy a decent lamp because you will only end up doing this anyway.someone on this site might have a secound hand one for sale if you cant afford new.

    i bred these pups last year and advertised a few on this site.these are the 2 bitches i kept out of the litter.they are 9 months old .

    if you want a bullcross as an allrounder, as a safe bet i would go for a 3/4grey 1/4 bull.

    i used to own a dog that was good at taken pheasants.had some spectacular catches with him.he was also good at taken partridge on the lamp aswell.

    i would rather cut the tape of mate than miss foxes due to faulty connectors.i have been down that road with connectors and fuses etc and i have missed foxes because of them.they normaly all go faulty eventually but if yours havent then good luck to ye.

    cant see the point in having connectors on your lamp unless you want to plug it into your cars socket.heres my set up.i tape round the spades to prevent them from coming off,

    all these cigar sockets and fuses etc are just more things that can go faulty when out lamping.cut the cigar of the lamps cable and attatch a couple of spades.

    i agree with you about coursing dogs lucky a lot have them do have prices.if you had to get rid of your best foxing lurcher(pre ban of course) would you rather give it to a close friend who you go out lamping with or sell it to a stranger.that is my point about good dogs not getting sold they get given to close friends.you will get exceptions and the odd good dog will get sold but the majority will have faults

    good working adult dogs dont get sold imo.why would anyone sell a good dog.if you were giving the dogs up you would offer them to your friends for free.while there is people willing to part with there hard earned cash there will always be a peddler to take it.

    i have dug to terriers a few times with one of them spades.there alright for a foot or 2 but anymore than that and there hard work.there handy to have though.
