White neighbours kneel down and beg there black neighbours for forgiveness.

In the film “Boy in the striped Pajamas” the character played by David Thewlis is the best character in the film......you ask yourself how does this intelligent, clean living family man get to be in charge of throwing people into ovens........and I’ll tell you........It’s this !.......this is how normal everyday folks turn into monsters when they feel their homeland and their very being is under attack. These people should be torched ! They are a cancer ! -

My oldest daughter is a bit “whatever”, kids ain’t worried the same as old c**ts like me mate......and why should they be. The worlds innocent and full of wonder when you are young and rightly so......it’s only when you get old you get jaded. That said, I was jaded at 10 ! Lol -

Just seen a group of 6 BLM protesters in......wait for it.......Carrick On Shannon ! There are about 2 spades in Carrick ! Lol All Young teenage girls about my Izzys age with their banners and chanting and all that........my Izzy told them to f**k off and shove it up their arse ! Lol -
Except gayer.......much, much gayer !
-
You are spot on, you shouldn’t need to but you do.....it’s f****d but that’s how it is.
-
With all due respect to you mate, see how far being Mr Upstanding Tidy Clean gets the bloke in a county with as much demand for social housing as Essex......he will be 153 years old before he gets a viewing ! Ponce has nothing to do with it and knowing the score everything to do with it.
-
Mate, imho, at that age you don’t want to be f***ing about with private let.....it’s not secure enough. Plus, as an older person, anywhere they takes multiple private DSS let’s round there won’t be a very nice place to live......he will get torn to bits. Better to get something nice, clean and secure for life from the council. As nice as your gesture is, a few hundred quid from various people ain’t the most sensible way forward. jmho
-
Well, that wasn’t my intention mate.
-
There’s a massive difference between purposefully trying to make someone feel bad and just telling them the realities of life.......one is to hurt and the other is to help. Or, he could have kept his dealings with another bloke to himself and nobody would have an opinion about it because nobody would know. jmho mate

Imho it’s better to embroider the truth to people who don’t give a f**k anyway than it is to beg from a bloke you don’t know.

Sorry, but I just don’t agree that matching tackle to your style or your thought process means you lack water craft or any of that....... I used 2 and 2 1/2 TC right up to the time I got my century’s which are 3.5........I can use them anywhere from the edge to the horizon because I have the skill to do it and they are good enough to do it. I don’t want a fish leading me on a dance wherever it pleases in weedy, snaggy lakes. I don’t want to be looking at stuff rolling at 120 yd’s and not be able to get there. I don’t want to add 6 more rods to the 6 I already carry, I want

Then he will stay where he is, simple as that mate.

Horses for courses though big lad, don’t you think ? The technology in a Harrison or Century blank wasn’t available back then. I still have a set of old KMDT3s (the original Maddocks rods) and their action is fantastic for fishing on the top, but my century’s beat them by a country mile for casting little bags and controlling 20+ fish. Like we both know, it just depends on your style and how you like to play fish.
-
I’d say that is actually very good advice.

There’s plenty of space in warden controlled places, the nature of being old means they come up all the time as people pop their clogs. The fact she don’t have enough space is a good thing, a bit of inconvenience for a couple of months for both of you but it will help you get somewhere. As for telling a lie, the spades have 3 council houses and a big gaff back in Lagos.....they ain’t telling the truth and everyone knows it so that sort of a mute point
-
Nothing to do with man up mate, take my advice, play the game and they will sort you. If your daughter is down there the best way would be to move in with her and the two of you say you had to because of your physical and mental health......however she then has to make the case that her house may not be big enough and that you need a warden controlled gaff of your own. Then you go to the doctor and lay it in thick about health, suicidal thoughts and all that old bollocks and get a report from the doctor.......which you then take up the housing. They will assign you a lady for yo

Understood squire, but I told him exactly how to go about things yesterday and I know it works because I know a few people who got sorted against the odds exactly like that. And his reply was basically “I ain’t doing that” so what do you say after that ? You can’t not bother yourself and try and shame a bloke into doing it for you in public.....you just can’t, it’s not fair. We have all felt sympathy for the man all the way along and I’m sure all of us are more than happy to offer advice and help to the best of our ability and the advice I gave him was the best advice for E

And to be fair, he offered to help get shopping to my old mum if I had a problem in this lock down. From our conversations over the years I have found he is that type of bloke. What you can’t do is lean on a mans charity when you ain’t prepared to exhaust all avenues yourself.....it’s just not right And it’s just not right to throw it out in public for all to see and maybe make the man feel pressure.....sorry mate, but it isn’t . Its a dogs trick......if you have dealings going on keep it to yourself then you can say thank you after if you need to. Not being a c**t to

Jmho, buts it totally out of order to put that on a geezer, especially one you have never met. You just can’t do that. I told you the way to go about things and I think you have a pretty good chance if you do..... I won’t say anymore
-
Mate, you have to use every means possible.....the council housing list in Essex is gigantic, 10,000 on the waiting list just in Thurrock never mind all the rest of Essex. If you ain’t prepared to lay it on then you won’t get anywhere, period ! Do not as an older person go moving into some smack alley mobile home in Jaywick or Clacton.....you’ll be dead in a year after living in misery. Thats my advice pal, take it or leave it
-
Right it’s like this, get onto the council, tell them your situation and say that you need to be in a warden controlled gaff somewhere......lay on all the illness, suicidal thoughts, medical condition stuff and get your daughter to say you need looked after. You May have to wait a few months but keep pestering and there’s a good chance you will get sorted. As for registering with a doctor, good luck with that in Essex ! Lol ?........you may find it hard, but it may be different round there. If your thinking of moving to jay wick don’t waste your time, just move into your dustbin
-
Or you could forget the rod and just “Bust a cap in its ass” lol Joke by the way before anyone gets all emotional !

Control and a bit of forgiveness sound like the order of the day imho. Id be looking to have something around 12 feet, fairly soft in the first 3rd and all the power in the bottom 2/3 rds. Those fish will go like the clappers I’m guessing and braid is savage in those situations so the soft tip will compensate, but you need the power in the lower sections or the fish will essentially be out of control. jmho

What size carp are you fishing for? How far are you casting? What BS line are you using?
