    Dessie Mackins Christmas Dog Show Saturday 16th December 17 Bannville House Hotel is set in 13 Acres of mature woodland on the Lurgan Road, 3 miles from Banbridge, and deep in the heart of the County Down countryside. These beautiful surroundings was the venue for Dessie Mackins annual Christmas Dog show Saturday 16thDecember 17. Although it was cold Christmassy weather, this did not dampen the spirits of the good men and women of the canine world, all out for a good days enjoyment and festivities, and were not disappointed.     Dessie Mackin has asked me to announce he is having an Irish Bull Cross Champion of Champions in 2018 for Bullcross Lurchers, and any show organisers wishing to obtain a qualifier please PM Dessie for same. The final for this Championship will be held later on in 2018. Full details later.     The good news is, by kind permission of Mr Aj Titterington all the qualifers for 2018 have just been granted for Dessies Show.

    Many thanks Albert, what would we do without you. You are a true ambassador for all Country Sports. Irene and yourself donate and give to many shows and charities during the year, and never asks for anything in return.
