Coursing dogs being lost (or f****d as you so politely put it) because of adding bull blood to the mix, the coursing lads are not adding the blood or even using the off spring of such matings, they are still line breeding there coursing dogs same as they have done for generations so I dont quite get how you say coursing dogs are being lost to bull blood.
runforyourlife have you ran all six in numbers and took mature bucks/stags in all the species? before the ban obviously. What ever the subject is on this running dog forum you always seem to feel qualified to answer and in most cases have very strong views.
You could also have a "point" there ginger pubes, but the only one out of the six which a single dog isnt capable of taking on a regular basis without the aid of accidents, fences, ditchs etc etc is a red stag....JMHO as you put it
If they have ran all six species in numbers and took bucks/stags in all six the above MAYBE true. Other than that I wouldnt say a person is more qualified just because they have took all six, it maybe the case thay have only run a few doe's of a certain species and not took a buck/stag in that species when at there best.
Good big dog will always be better than a good little one, however either will do as long as they have the right attitude ie up and at them causing panic and getting the job done, not hanging behind pushing hoping for a mistake. Height isnt as necessary as strength Ive seen 27+ dogs not as strong as dogs 23+
This story sounds like made up bollocks to me. Iam sure slip the dog is the same guy who put a topic up a while ago saying he bred a litter of jack russel x greyhounds.
not important thats not the right word but since time began people have been obsessed with whats the most biggest longest shortest tallest smallest etc thats why theres the guiness book of records. if someone says they have done 100 the next topic will be whos done 101 its just a bit of fun and should be took as such
