    Was there any particular style you liked or felt worked best for bringing the deer to a stand still? Ive seen 90 pound 28tts dogs struggle to keep a deer under control and smaller dogs make it look effortless. The dogs which hit high then didnt change hold seemed to struggle to bring things to a conclusion the most?

    What did you look for in a dog for pulling deer preban? Personly I liked a dog which was up and at them and would try to pull asap. Lurchers that would sit behind hoping or waiting for a mistake or pushed the deer to a fence hoping it would bounce were not for me. There have been loads of topics on this board about which WAS the best lurcher cross for pulling deer thats not what Iam asking that is personal preference.

    I have read some comments and I can see the doubters, I have seen this bitch work and to be honest she would do that number a peice of piss The bitch has probably killed her share of roe but I believe 700 is an exageration to inflate MOO'S bigger than average ego, either that or he cannot count.

    TBH if I had a pup ready to start it would get started and it wouldnt matter what time of the year it was. As a rule with seasoned dogs I finish end of march then start getting the ring rust shook off them about mid august ground permiting. I dont mind taking 3/4 grown animals but take no pleasure in killing pregnant ones
