i cant remember what they weighed but good doubles,they were the average size you would pull out, it was packed with big uns with some very nice perch in aswell, think the biggest i got out was the 26lb mark, it was an old little pond that was very silted up and forgot about for years at an old farm that had been made into offices, it was a very handy place to go if you wanted a good bit of fun, its been emptied now and signs put up all over place, anything we used use to pull them out, the good old days thou,

Ive just found a new private lake that holds some rather large PIKE so hopefully i will be there in the week, a couple of 30s have been caught so fingers crossed. good on the man who caught that monster, lucky c**t, RC dont do what i did, i knew a good private place where i got plenty of 20lb plus out and saw probably a good 30lb plus sat in the margins that i didnt get the chance to get out because i took a lad only for him to go back with others and f****d it all up, keep it to yourself but let us know how you get on,

no lads the bitch wasnt found, weve tried everything we can and we dont know how much has been spent in phone calls to other lads/law/dog kennels in hope of finding her, if someone has picked her up they must be keeping her as no terrier has been handed in but they'll get a shock if we bump into them with her, but were started to think she has ended up in the river as it was in fast flood as we have had alot of rain, so if she has ended up in there she could be anywhere by now, it doesnt look very good at the moment but we'll still keep an eye out for her, thanks to those who asked, atb

Hi mate,sorry to hear about losing the dog,but just wanted to say it's still a good idea to have a look where she was last seen for any earths or holes and take a mates terrier to run through,them.I know the terrier is only used for bushing but it could just be one of those times when they follow something to ground in the excitement they will be keen to catch it,hope you find the dog soon, Higgins. very much appreciated pal but my pal knows the land like back of his hand and even still the dog wont stay to ground she still had a collar on her, he's looked all over for her but with no luck

had a call early today of a pal saying his terrier bitch while out bushing had gone missing after bolting something from cover, she went missing around half one this aftie around the holton moor/ swillington/ rothwell area , this bitch is a bushing dog only and a family pet, my pal is gutted along with his kids and ive only this minute got in from looking for her with him with no luck and he has ask me to put it on here so hopefully someone local to these area mite come across her, she is a patterdale bitch at around 15" and is fairly strong looking but is only a bushing dog and wont go to gro

well done pal, i bet the farmer was over the moon with you as pigs are making good money latly so its the last thing the farmer needs is them been taken from old charlie boy, brought back afew memorys as i use to do a earth afew year ago that was about a mile from a pig unit and we always found dead piglets there nearly all the time,it use to be a handy earth to do, the pig units isnt there anymore but we still call it the pig set but only for that reason,

thanks for the replys lads, im not much of a shooting man but i can honestly say i enjoyed it, also i roasted the teal and i didnt think much of it so there safe from now on but the partridge was spot on, jack alberts fine but ive been trying to get him out again but all i get is( weather permitting )
