  1. had a 17rem before my 223, ammo costs and how they so fussy with cleaning put me off. couldnt be happier with my 223, really dose the job good. not ammo fussy and cheap to feed, have got 1" groups and less at 250yds when i shoot it right. you would be happy with a 223 for a fox round
  2. thanks lads. call them in with a digital caller sean or a squeak on the lips, whatever seems to bring them in, im afraid ten foxes is only the tip of the iceberg, place is full of them
  3. my mate is an electrician said join plus to plus and negative to negative to get 12v. plus to negative gives 24v i think

  6. there are no dog men in these parts no one in my area dose it, my pup is the only lurcher around, i dont go out to bag big numbers i shoot them because i dont want them eating my bloody lambs! some if not all the land isnt suitable for a dog anyway two maybe three of them could have been taken by a dog. and what i shoot dose nothing to the local fox population there are loads of them. there was last year and the year before that and so on. i will kill with my lurcher when she is ready, i will still have to shoot them tho not so i can show off, so my lambs wont be half killed off!
  7. thanks lads as frank said, there is no hunt pack, no lurchers, no terrier men, (sorry if i left anyone out) in my area my pup is the only lurcher i know of and if she is a good one i will have plenty sport. i will still be shooting them tho. my dad has 250 ewes goin to lamb in a few months, stella or vinnie i dont have time for ye to get on them high horses and ride on over here

  11. would it not be alot easier to ask "the farmers" as some call them, for premission to walk their land? most like shooting or hunting and only be glad to be rid of rabbits, foxes or what ever. they know wats up then theres no problems. not saying shooting at people is right tho! just takes a bit of common sence
