To save me replying to several messages asking what I feed my mongrels on especially throughout the season well as I've aged I try to make thing's as easy as possible for myself,I don't feed my dog's much kibble but what they do get is decent quality stuff I'd like to think..I feed Orijen (Fit & Trim),Acana,Eden & Truline along with an old friend Eukanuba..with that I'll add a little pasta and for a number of year's now I've used the 'dry meat'..(beef greaves) as their main meat source, they don't need a lot of it as it's 60% protein & has a 40% fat content, all the above kibble are

Wouldn't surprise me if he had Collie in him mate, all these coursing lot would tell you anything to sell a f***ing pup..Saluki this & Saluki that, all coursing superstars too ..let's just say he's a collie cross,I like that ..f**k Saluki's the skinny, narrow backed, slow, shivering useless b*****ds that they are ..cur dawgs rule

Thanks bud, yeah she can run alright, fast & got great balance with it. She is an easy animal to keep fit as she will chase seagulls on the beach as if her life depended on it,chase a ball & retrieve it all day long, same goes with a frisbee, she will chase the lure no probs & on a walk I could almost guarantee she will find something to chase, bunnies, pheasant's,hoof she just loves mooching about looking for stuff no matter where you walk her & if we go on walks through the forests then rest assured we can sit & drink a large flask of coffee waiting on her return haha..she has

Bear & Rose out this afternoon..

Young Kali is thankfully over her setback (broken metatarsal bone) & is back on the right track now.. hopefully she can stay injury free from here on & we can really kick on with her this next season..this was her just this afternoon,I take no credit whatsoever for her,my Mrs does absolutely everything with her, feeding, grooming, treating her injuries, training etc..all I do is take Kali for a gallop during the winter, the dog is always super fit (much fitter than my lard arse mongrels) & I know she will never ever fall short due to fitness when I take her.

Being honest mate in recent year's I've had a real bad run of bad luck regarding injuries,Boots chipped a bone in his wrist that curtailed his coursing days at the age of 5,he still mopped a few up daytime & I even took him lamping to keep him busy & to keep him content but the injury put an end to his better days spinning them, your right in regards to Bear breaking his neck,he hit a beast at full speed & took himself & it into a ditch,it died on impact & left him with a broken neck. Don lost an eye when he had a beast on the floor by the throat & as we know on occasion

My pup Tino yesterday..he's unfortunately carrying an injury at the moment which is preventing us cracking on with his education, especially jumping & anything more than just walking really..pups doing what pups do 'playing and fighting' his sister Maggie ran directly in front of him when he was coursing about & he hit her side on & had his front end taken away & he skidded about 10-15 foot on what looked like his chin,it took him around 30 seconds to gather himself up off the ground,he walks 100% sound but I can see at a jog he's not stretching out on his front end,it's nothing

Don't underestimate yourself Dodge,I know that you've had some serious animals in your kennels & done a hundred times more than I daytime .. likewise regarding our trips that are too many year's ago for my liking, the years pass me by so quickly these day's..I always remember when Topper caught 14 or was it 16 I can't quite remember now,Chester was lame & Topper got some serious running without so much as a five minute break,we gave him some real hammer & to be fair to him he kept on giving his everything,he was a superb dog, retrieved everything as good as a gundog..I really rated

Same dog out of my two Jack x Kelsey..not too shabby considering Minshaw's are renowned for their lamping endeavours..this dog here is actually half brother to Venus of Tomo's,Swift I owned & even my Don dog.

FAO Dodger..here's a really old clip of a dog I bred out of my old dog Jack that you travelled up to see run many moons ago now, just thought I'd put it on for the craic..this dog was litter brother to Chester.

Boots when last weighed at the vet's was 35.55kg Tomo..at this current moment he's probably 40kg plus,he's just enjoying retirement now, eating & sleeping for the most, still gets 3 walks daily but not excessive exercise like he used to get. Old dog will be 13 come October 1st,he looks very well to be fair to him, absolutely gleaming he is.
